📢 Zahira College Colombo 10 – Batch of 2003
Community Project Update
Alhamdulillah, our batch has taken another meaningful step towards supporting religious education in one of the rural areas of Sri Lanka.
📍 Kuwait Road, Puttalam
We are working on a Water Project, Ablution Area, and Bathroom Facilities for 90 part-time and full-time Madrasa students who are dedicated to their Qur’an studies.
These children were given a small plot of land nearly 10 years ago, and with the guidance of 4 Ulamas and very limited resources, they successfully completed their first batch of students. Their second batch will also be completed this month, Masha Allah!
During our visit, we witnessed the commitment, passion, and sacrifices these young students make every day to seek religious knowledge, despite their minimal infrastructure.
🕌✨ There is still much more to be done, and we sincerely hope that our brothers, sisters, and well-wishers will join hands in supporting and uplifting this beautiful place of learning.
🤲 We also thank all the well-wishers, donors, and Batch 2003 members who have helped us make this project a success.
May your tireless efforts and hard work be rewarded abundantly in Jannah, Insha Allah.
As the Batch of 2003, we are committed to continuing our community service efforts to keep the college flag and our batch flag flying high with pride.
