Sri Lanka Malay Youth Association - SLMYA A non profit organization with a goal of uniting Malay Youth around Sri Lanka through Sports, Music, and Voluntary Charity Projects You know who you are.

Without the initiation of certain key persons and presidents of several Malay Associations we would not have come to any fruition. So thank you to all of the Uncles and Aunties from the Colombo Malay Cricket Club, Sri Lanka Malay Association, COSLAM, Mabole Malay Association, Battaramulla Malay Association, Kumpulan Melyu Di Kotikawatta, Persatuan Melayu Di Hunupitiya, Malay Association of Kadawat

ha Kelaniya, and many others who we may have failed to mention. Termiah Kasih for being there with us through thick and thin. We the SLMYA for short, are here for many reasons.
1. To bring unity amongst the Malay youth around the island
2. To foster and build a sense of Malay culture amongst its members
3. To promote and provide for (through the help of other associations) facilities for talented youth in the fields of sports, education and aesthetics.
4. To provide job opportunities
5. To maintain and promote goodwill and cooperation with the Youth of other communities in Sri Lanka.
6. To promote and establish friendly relations with Malay Youth Globally
7. To propagate and encourage the use of Malay Language
