This weekend we closed Climate Positive: An Exhibition of Regenerative Possibility, but its roots run far deeper than these past weeks.
The Climate Positive exhibition is just one outcome of the Creative Catalyst Fellowship. In June 2024, ten artists engaged in an immersive residency with scientists, conservationists, academics, and community leaders as mentors, guiding them through ecosystems, data, histories, and lived realities. These encounters built trust, sharpened vision, and helped each artist reconnect with their creative source.
When funding was unexpectedly cut in January this year, it could have ended there. Instead, we reimagined. The exhibition evolved from a large-scale, tech-immersive concept into a more intimate, independent form, holding onto its essence while adapting to reality. That agility, and the trust built over months, is what made this possible, along with the unwavering commitment of our fellows, the generosity of local and diaspora supporters, and the belief of everyone who understood why this work matters.
The response exceeded anything we imagined: full walkthroughs, repeat visits, intergenerational conversations, and organic media coverage - without a single boosted post or paid placement. Sri Lankans stepped forward, giving this work not just visibility, but life.
We close with deep gratitude, for our fellows, our mentors, our partners, and every visitor who took the time to listen, question, and imagine alongside us. This was more than an exhibition. It was a demonstration of what happens when creativity, science, trust, and collective will come together in service of regeneration.

Good Life X works in the creative sector because we see creativity as a catalyst for systemic change. The challenges of our time, ecological, social, and economic, cannot be solved by technical solutions alone. The challenges we face demand new ways of seeing, feeling, and imagining. By connecting artists with scientists, entrepreneurs, and communities, we unlock regenerative thinking that can shift systems.
