The Alumni Association of the University of Colombo formed in 1982 by the then Vice Chancellor the late Prof. Stanley Wijesundera as the first Ex-Officio Vice President, is the apex Alumni body of the University of Colombo. The Association represents all Alumni from all the Faculties and Institutes at the University of Colombo. The Past Presidents of the Association were: Mr. Sujata Jayawardena, L

The incumbent President of the Alumni Association is Mr. Rajeev Amarasuriya, the Ex-Officio Vice President Vice Chancellor Prof. H.D. Karunaratne and Vice President Ms. Suranjani Wickramaratne with the Secretary being Ms. Ruwandhi Thanthrige and the Treasurer Mr. Janek Jayasekera.
