අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක පාලනයට වසරක්: වෙනස කොතැනද? 🇱🇰

අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා සහ මාලිමාවේ පාලනයට දැන් වසරක් සපිරී තිබෙනවා. දශක ගණනාවක් පැවති සාම්ප්‍රදායික දේශපාලනය වෙනුවට ජනතාව බලාපොරොත්තු වූ ඒ "පද්ධතිමය වෙනස" (System Change) ඇත්තටම සිදුවෙමින් පවතිනවාද?
පසුගිය වසර දෙස ආපසු හැරී බැලීමේදී සාම්ප්‍රදායික විපක්ෂයේ දේශපාලනයට වඩා මෙහි ඇති වෙනස්කම් කිහිපයක් අපට හඳුනාගත හැකියි:

✅ ලැබූ ජයග්‍රහණ (වෙනස් වූ දේ):
* දේශපාලන සංස්කෘතියේ වෙනස: දේශපාලඥයන් සතු වූ අසීමිත වරප්‍රසාද, සුඛෝපභෝගී වාහන සහ ආරක්ෂක පිරිවර සැලකිය යුතු ලෙස අඩු කිරීම. "දේශපාලකයා යනු සේවකයෙකු මිස රජෙකු නොවන බව" ප්‍රායෝගිකව පෙන්වා දීම.
* මූල්‍ය විනය: රාජ්‍ය ආදායම ඉහළ නංවා ගනිමින් සහ අනවශ්‍ය වියදම් කපා හරිමින් ආර්ථිකය ස්ථාවර කිරීමට ගත් උත්සාහය.
* ජාතික සමගිය: උතුර සහ දකුණ එකම දේශපාලන මතයකට ගොනු කරමින්, පැරණි ජාතිවාදී දේශපාලනයට තිත තැබීමට ලැබුණු විශාල ජනවරම.

⚠️ පවතින අභියෝග (සැබෑ තත්ත්වය):
* ජීවන වියදම: විදුලි බිල සහ ඉන්ධන මිලෙහි යම් සංශෝධන සිදු වුවද, තවමත් සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාවට ඉහළ ජීවන වියදම විශාල බරක් වී තිබේ.
* IMF සහ ආර්ථික මාවත: පෙර රජය මෙන්ම මෙම රජයද ජාත්‍යන්තර මූල්‍ය අරමුදලේ (IMF) කොන්දේසි මත ඉදිරියට යාමට සිදුවීම නිසා අපේක්ෂිත වේගවත් සහන තවමත් ජනතාවට ලැබී නොමැති වීම.

🔄 විපක්ෂය සහ රජය අතර වෙනස:
සාම්ප්‍රදායික විපක්ෂ කණ්ඩායම් (SJB/UNP) පවසන්නේ තවමත් ජනතාවට ආර්ථික සහන ලැබී නැති බවයි. නමුත් රජය පවසන්නේ ඔවුන් කරන්නේ "අත්තිවාරම දැමීම" බවයි. පෙර රජයන් මෙන් පවුල් දේශපාලනයක් හෝ ගනුදෙනු මත පදනම් වූ දේශපාලනයක් මෙහි නොතිබීම විශේෂත්වයකි.

සාරාංශය:
දූෂණයෙන් තොර ආණ්ඩුවක් තිබීම පමණක් සෑහේද? නැතිනම් ජනතාවගේ අතේ මුදල් ගැවසෙන ආර්ථිකයක් ඉක්මනින් නිර්මාණය විය යුතුද?

One Year of AKD: A New Era or the Same Struggle? 🇱🇰

It’s been exactly one year since Anura Kumara Dissanayake took office. Looking back, the political landscape in Sri Lanka has shifted in ways we haven't seen in decades. But how does this "NPP Way" actually stack up against the traditional politics of the past?

✅ The Wins (What Changed):
* A Culture of Accountability: For the first time, we see a massive reduction in "VVIP culture." Perks, luxury mansions, and massive security details for politicians have been slashed. The message is clear: "You are a servant, not a king."
* Fiscal Discipline: 2025 saw the highest government revenue and the lowest budget deficit since 1977. While the "bitter pill" of IMF reforms continues, the waste of public funds has significantly dropped.
* Breaking the Barrier: The NPP’s victory in the North and East was a historic moment, proving that a "National Unity" message could finally dent the old ethnic-based politics.

⚠️ The Reality Check (The Challenges):
* Cost of Living: Despite small wins like lower electricity bills and fuel price adjustments, the average family is still feeling the pinch. Poverty remains high, and "System Change" hasn't yet meant "Rich Wallets."
* The IMF Shadow: Many expected a radical departure from the previous path, but the government has largely stayed within the IMF framework to avoid another collapse.

🔄 Contrast with the Opposition:
Unlike the SJB or UNP, which often rely on "elite bargains" and traditional political networks, the NPP has focused on a bottom-up approach. While the opposition criticizes the slow pace of relief, the government argues they are "fixing the foundation" that the others broke.

The Big Question ???:
Is a "Clean Government" enough if the cost of bread is still high? Or is this the necessary "cleaning of the house" before we can finally thrive?
