Today is the day!

Phase 02 of ceylon heritage, a hike through the loolecondera tea estate, in hopes of spreading awareness and knowledge on the deep tea cultivation heritage of Sri Lanka will take place today!

Today, we begin a journey into the roots of one of Sri Lanka’s greatest legacies.

Phase 1 of Project Ceylon Heritage is bringing together history, heritage and purpose as we explore the origins of Ceylon tea and its lasting impact on our culture, environment and economy.

Every lesson learned today strengthens our appreciation for the story behind every leaf and every cup.

This is only the beginning—stay with us as we continue the journey to the birthplace of Ceylon tea in Phase 2.

Introducing Ceylon Heritage, a green life initiative by the Interact Club of Nalanda College.

Ceylon heritage is a head first dive into the world of Ceylon tea. A cornerstone of Sri Lanka’s history and economy.

This project taking place under two phases, aims to spread knowledge on this often forgotten part of Sri Lankan culture and to spread awareness on its importance to the youth.
