Excited to share that Dr. Priyanga Senanayaka, Dr. Pramil Liyanage, and Dr. Pamod Amarakoon are representing HISP Sri Lanka at the “Asia Conference 2024” in Vietnam from the 1st to the 3rd of October 2024. They presented insightful sessions throughout the conference. It’s a proud moment for HISP Sri Lanka as we contribute to advancing healthcare information systems across the region.

In parallel to the conference, the 30th Anniversary of the HISP group was also celebrated.

SLENDO 2024. - Sri Lanka College of Endocrinologists Annual Congress was held at the Shangri – La Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka, from August 8th to 11th, 2024,

Diabetes Compass Community Screening App for community screening and the Clinic App which used by the Medical officers and Nursing officers to record patient diagnosis and treatment records in order to maintain patient care path was presented for the participents at the Diabetes Compass stall located in SLENDO 2024,

HISP Sri Lanka team joined the event as the technical partners of the Diabetes Compass project.

Insightful speech deliveries and dynamic panel discussions at DHIS2 Education Conference and Academy.The main objective of this event to discover ways to visualize and disseminate national, district and school level education data, and learn how ministries are locally customizing EMIS tools that fit their needs while building in-country capacity to mold and scale EMIS tools and procedures over time.

Inauguration ceremony of DHIS2 Education Conference and Academy2024, organised by HISP Sri Lanka along with University of Oslo and Education Ministry of Sri tanaka, held at Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo, Sri Lanka from 06-10 May 2024.
The event was attended by Ministries of Education, HISP groups, donor and development organisations in Asia, Africa and Europe. In addition, over 100 participants of global GPE KIX network joined online for the conference.

Information System Fundamentals Research workshop organized by the University of Oslo together with HISP Sri Lanka was held from 18-22 March 2024 at Hotel Jetwing Blue in Negombo, Sri Lanka. The event was attended by 7 HISP groups in Asia in addition to participants from the Ministry of Health & Ministry of Education in Sri Lanka. This highly engaging workshop was targeted at igniting capacity to conduct action research in HISP groups and ministries.

“dhis2 Academy 2023” organised by HISP Sri Lanka, held at Galle Face Hotel from 27th November to 2nd December 2023. This is a hands-on session which is focused to raise awareness and capacity building of dhis2 community on “Android Configuration and Use”.

The dhis2 Asia Pacific Badminton Tournament took place among the participating countries of the conference. The Laos team emerged as the champions, with the host country's Sri Lankan team securing the runner-up position.
