Annual General Meeting of ASHARE SL Chapter was held on Friday, 22nd May 2026 at Hilton Colombo Residences.

ASHARE SL Chapter wishes to thank all the members for their active involvement and commitment which have greatly contributed to the success of the chapter events, activities, and initiatives throughout the year 2025-2026.

Furthermore, chapter would like to thank all the members for attending and supporting the event.

We wish the incoming Board of Governors and all committee members continued success and another impactful year ahead.

The ASHRAE Sri Lankan Chapter held its final Board of Governors (BOG) and Chapter Committee (CC) meeting for the concluding society year on 12th May at Mercantile Cricket Association, 114 Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 07.

The primary objective of this session was to close out outstanding year-end business and transition smoothly into strategic planning for the upcoming term, ensuring continuity and sustained momentum for the chapter's professional initiatives.

ASHRAE has announced a Professional Development Scholarship opportunity for eligible members who wish to participate in the upcoming HVAC Design Level I & II (MENA) online training programme.

Eligible ASHRAE members may receive 35%–50% off the listed member registration fee through the Professional Development Scholarship programme.

This event marked an important step in strengthening the connection between academia and the HVAC&R industry, empowering the next generation of engineers.
