We welcome the new president of the Sindhi Ladies Club - Jenny Ramchandani who hosted this afternoons tea party. We also thank Lavina Daryanani for her two years of service towards our beloved community.

It was an eventful evening of fun and games as usual.

Valentines high tea held on the 11th of February saw our members having fun at a sing along to the tunes of old songs and new around the theme of LOVE. We also played quirky funny memory games and never to forget the crowd pleaser - Tambola! With beautiful red deco and lighting, members and their guests also came dressed to theme!

We were happy to organize a Christmas party for the children of Sneha Children’s home on the 12th of December 2025. We arranged for a magic show to entertain the children and even had Santa Claus to hand over small token gifts to the children. The children also enjoyed tea time snacks and drinks. We were also happy to donate 31 pairs of school shoes as requested by this home. It was a delight to see the children having a good time.

Diwali high tea 2025! The members and their guests enjoyed an afternoon where they tried their luck with the Lucky dip, tombola and other thematic Diwali games. We also had the honour of having the wife of his Excellency the Indian high commissioner to judge one of the Games. The evening ended with scrumptious Indian snacks leaving everyone in high Diwali spirits!

Sindhi Ladies club annual project for the year 2026. This year as usual we reached out to our generous community and collected a whopping Rs.377,000/-. From these funds, we were able to provide dry rations for all the deserving ladies of LANKADHARA women’s home and household items for the shelters of WOMEN IN NEED. Pictured here are the committee and members visiting both these locations on the same day on 6th June 2025.

We also donated the same dry rations bag to the support staff at the community centre.
