The Lions Club of Udahamulla New Century, together with the Dampal 99 Group, extended a compassionate hand to the flood-affected families in the Nawagamuwa area. The team generously donated essential dry rations, sanitary items, clothing, water bottles, and other necessities to support those impacted by the disaster.

PDG E. W. A. Harishchandra actively took part in the distribution efforts, helping ensure that relief items reached the most affected households. The project was successfully coordinated under the leadership of Project Chairperson Lion Karmal Samarawickrama, MAF, whose dedication played a key role in bringing this humanitarian initiative to life.

This service project reflects the Lions’ unwavering commitment to uplifting communities during times of need.

Lions Club of Udahamulla New Century organized a humanitarian initiative, donating 400 food packets along with sanitary items, water bottles and other essential supplies to flood-affected families in Kolonnawa, Kaduwela, and Malabe.

The project was led by Project Chairperson Lion Dulanjalee De Silva, with generous contributions from Lion Karmal, Lion Umesh,Lion Dovini, Lion Pahan, and Lion Nuwana.

𝓛𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼 𝓒𝓵𝓾𝓫 𝓞𝓯 𝓤𝓭𝓪𝓱𝓪𝓶𝓾𝓵𝓵𝓪 𝓝𝓮𝔀 𝓒𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓾𝓻𝔂 made a generous donation of a commercial vehicle valued at 2.6 million rupees to a middle-class businessman and sub-contractor, who is currently working with a leading telecommunications company in Sri Lanka. The donation aims to support and uplift local entrepreneurs, providing them with the necessary tools to enhance their businesses.

𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗱𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗽𝗲𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹

The Lions Club of Udahamulla New Century proudly contributed to a Multi-Service Project led by the 99 batch of Dharmapala Vidyalaya, under the leadership of Project Chairman, 𝗟𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗠𝗔𝗙, who also serves as the Treasurer of LCUNC.

Our members actively supported various aspects of this project, including:

1. 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 at Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama, improving the facilities for patients in need of specialized care.
2. 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to the renovated wards to uplift the spirits of the patients during their recovery.
3. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 such as medicines, pillows, mattresses, and adult diapers to enhance patient comfort.
4. 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 to invoke blessings for the patients, staff, and everyone involved in this noble effort.
5. 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 in partnership with Nations Trust Bank and Dharmapala Vidyalaya 99 Group, helping to save lives by increasing blood reserves.

This collaborative effort reflects our commitment to improving healthcare and serving the community in meaningful ways.
