🌍 FEEDING CHANGE – DAY 12

COMPOST THE REST

“If it must go… can it still give back?”

Not all food waste is useless.
Sometimes what we throw away can return to the earth and create new life.

Fruit peels, vegetable scraps, and organic leftovers can be composted instead of thrown into the bin.

Today’s simple habit:

🍌 Fruit peels → Compost
🥕 Vegetable scraps → Compost
🌱 Organic waste → Soil that nourishes plants

Composting turns waste into growth and helps reduce the amount of food waste that ends up in landfills.

Before throwing food scraps away, pause and ask:
👉 Did I waste… or did I recycle?

NOTHING WASTED. EVERYTHING USED.

🌍 FEEDING CHANGE – DAY 8

BUFFET DISCIPLINE

“Is it hunger… or just excitement?”

Buffets offer many choices.
But choice should not become waste.

Buffets don’t mean unlimited waste.
They mean unlimited choice — with responsibility.

Today’s simple habit:

🍽 Take small portions first.
🥗 Taste before you take more.
🔁 Go back for seconds if you’re still hungry.

Before filling your plate, pause and ask: 👉 Am I taking this because I’m hungry… or just because I can?

Every unfinished plate wastes water, money, and effort.

TAKE WHAT YOU CAN FINISH.

🌍 FEEDING CHANGE – DAY 7

REFLECT & RESET

“How much food did you throw away this week?”

Waste is not just food.
It is water, money, effort, and opportunity.

Every grain wasted carries the work of many hands.
Every plate left unfinished is a lost chance to value what we have.

Today’s reflection:

📝 Count how many times you wasted food this week.
🤔 Think about why it happened.
💚 Make a simple commitment to reduce it next week.

Before you take your next meal, pause and ask: 👉 Am I taking only what I can finish?

Real change begins with awareness.
Small habits today can create a big impact tomorrow.

FINISH WHAT YOU TAKE.
TAKE WHAT YOU FINISH.

🌍 FEEDING CHANGE – DAY 5

CHECK BEFORE YOU COOK.

“Are we cooking new food… while yesterday’s waits?”

Leftovers are not old food.
They are second chances.

Before you turn on the stove,
open the fridge.

Look.
Check.
Use what you already have.

Today’s simple habit:

🥡 Finish yesterday’s meals first.
🍛 Turn leftovers into something new.
📅 Reheat safely and enjoy mindfully.

Before you start cooking, pause and ask: 👉 What can I transform today?

When we give food a second chance,
we reduce waste, save money, and respect effort.

OLD FOOD. NEW PURPOSE.

🌍 FEEDING CHANGE – DAY 4

STORE RIGHT.

“Did the food expire… or did we ignore it?”

Food doesn’t spoil overnight.
It spoils when forgotten.

A full fridge doesn’t mean a safe fridge.
If we don’t store it right, we waste it silently.

Today’s simple habit:

🧊 Keep older items in front.
📦 Use airtight containers.
📅 Label and check expiry dates.
🥕 Store fruits and vegetables properly.

Before you close the fridge, pause and ask: 👉 What did I save today?

When we store food with care,
we protect effort, money, and meals.

STORE IT RIGHT. SAVE A BITE.

🌍 FEEDING CHANGE – DAY 3

PLAN SMART.

“Is your fridge full… or forgotten?”

Most food waste doesn’t start on the plate.
It starts in the shopping cart.

We buy more than we need.
We forget what we already have.
And slowly… good food goes bad.

Today’s simple habit:

🧊 Check your fridge before you shop.
📝 Make a list — and stick to it.
📅 Look at expiry dates.
🥦 Plan meals around what you already have.

Before you buy, pause and ask: 👉 Did I check before I bought?

A smart plan saves money.
A smart plan saves food.
A smart plan feeds more.

CHECK FIRST. BUY SMART.

🌍 FEEDING CHANGE – DAY 2

RESPECT THE PLATE.

“How many hands worked to bring this meal to you?”

👨‍🌾 A farmer planted it.
🚜 Someone harvested it.
🚚 Someone transported it.
👩‍🍳 Someone cooked it.

And in just a moment… we almost throw it away.

Before you leave food on your plate, pause and think: 👉 Would I waste it if I had grown it myself?

Every grain of rice carries sweat.
Every vegetable carries someone’s hard work.
Every meal carries a story.

Today’s habit is simple:

🍽 Finish what you take.
💚 Appreciate what you eat.
🙏 Respect the effort behind every bite.

LOVE YOUR LAST BITE.
