Today marks a significant achievement for Habitat for Humanity Sri Lanka as we handed over the keys to eight new homes in the Katana area!
We were honored to have distinguished guests at the opening ceremony, including the District Secretary of Gampaha District, the Director General of the NGO Secretariat, the Divisional Secretary of Katana Divisional Secretariat Division, the National Director of Habitat for Humanity Sri Lanka, and many other esteemed government officials. Their presence added warmth and significance to the event, highlighting the collaborative effort in building a better future.

Another house construction has recently kicked off in the Hirimburagama Grama Niladhari division in Bope-Poddala Divisional Secretariat division in the Galle district.

This initiative has garnered the support and participation of dedicated government officials, who are committed to making a positive impact in their community.

Exciting News from Katana!
We're thrilled to share that eight beautiful homes in the Katana area are nearing completion, thanks to the incredible partnership with our generous donor from the UK
These homes are a testament to the power of community and collaboration, and we are eager to see the families move in to their new homes soon!
But that's not all! Through the wall painting activities the homeowners themselves got to put their personal touch on their new homes. It's all about making these houses truly feel like home!
