Sri Lanka Apparel Brands Association SLABA operates with the vision to provide a perfect platform for all Sri Lankan Apparel Brands to join forces to achieve common objectives.

Sri Lanka Apparel Brands Association provides a forum to bring together Apparel Manufacturers for the domestic market representing Casual wear, Tailoring and Formal wear, Fashion wear, Uniform and Work wear, Lingerie and others such as Socks, Headwear, Bags etc. with a common objective of reaching the international market. We are deeply committed to the continuous development and growth of HOME GROWN apparel brands for its success both domestically and internationally. We endeavour to provide a suitable environment and a level playing field for all our members with a deep commitment to ethical considerations and sustainable challenges. As a rejuvenated association with over 60 committed members we are confident that this is the inaugural stride in the direction towards placing Sri Lanka on the Map for World Class Apparel Brands.

SLABA Represents Sri Lanka at WTMC China 2025 🇨🇳

SLABA was honoured to participate in the 8th World Textile Merchandising Conference (WTMC) held from 6th to 8th November 2025 in Keqiao, China.

A three-member delegation comprising our Secretary, Mr.Padmal Silva, Treasurer Mr.Shahzad Salih, and a representative from Zad & Co. Global represented Sri Lanka at this prestigious global forum. We are also proud to share that SLABA was invited as the official representative from Sri Lanka for this year’s conference.

The conference, themed “International Co-opetition — Reshaping the New Landscape of the Global Textile Value Chain,” brought together leading global industry stakeholders to discuss supply chain collaboration, digital transformation, innovation, and sustainable development within the textile sector.
