The Aloka Skills Development Foundation for Disabled Youth was formed on 2 September 2012 as a voluntary organization by a group of parents, friends and well wishers who identified the need to provide equal opportunities for differently-abled youth in Sri Lanka to receive education and training in Vocational Skills for Art, Crafts, Music, Drama, Home gardening, Sports & any other life skills, in

order to assist them to be self –reliant, independent and integrate into society to be contributing and responsible citizens in Sri Lanka.
