The Sri Lanka Development Journalist Forum (SDJF) was pleased to meet with the leadership and team of the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR) yesterday for a productive discussion on potential strategic collaborations.

The meeting focused on exploring opportunities to work together in promoting social harmony, national unity, inclusive development, and community engagement through media and advocacy initiatives.

We sincerely thank the Chairman and the ONUR team for the warm welcome and valuable exchange of ideas. SDJF looks forward to building meaningful partnerships that contribute towards reconciliation and sustainable national development in Sri Lanka.

Continuing our Journey in Jaffna: 8th Engagement Seminar in Chavakachcheri!

The momentum within the Jaffna District continues! Last Friday, 13/03/2026, we successfully concluded our eighth public engagement seminar at the Chavakachcheri Divisional Secretariat. This session provided a vital platform for the community to discuss gender-responsive policing, dignity, and inclusive service delivery.

Participants also gained hands-on experience with the GESI.lk platform to strengthen local feedback mechanisms.

යාපනය දිස්ත්‍රික්කය පුරා අප දියත් කරන ප්‍රජා සහභාගීත්ව ගමනේ අටවන පියවර, චාවකච්චේරි ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේදී සාර්ථකව නිම කරන ලදී. ස්ත්‍රී පුරුෂ සමාජභාවයට ප්‍රතිචාර දැක්වීමේ පොලිස් සේවාවන් සහ සමාජ වගවීම ශක්තිමත් කිරීම පිළිබඳව මෙහිදී පුළුල් ලෙස සාකච්ඡා කෙරිණි.
