මුරගල ප්‍රගතිශීලී දේශපාලන හා ප්‍රතිපත්ති සඳහා වූ කේන්ද්‍රය (CPPP) වෙතින්, “ලාංකීය සරසවි සිසුවා: අරගලය සහ දේශපාලනය” තේමාව යටතේ කෙරෙන නිර්මාණාත්මක ආරාධනාවයි!

රාජ්‍ය, පෞද්ගලික, මාර්ගගත (online) හෝ භෞතික (offline) ඕනෑම අවකාශයක විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ශිෂ්‍යයා සතු භූමිකාව සහ අත්දැකීම් ප්‍රශ්න කරන ඔබේ කලාත්මක ප්‍රකාශනයන්ට අප මෙහිදී ඉඩහසර වෙන් කරමු.

Muragala l Centre for Progressive Politics & Policy invites artistic expressions on the “Struggles and Politics of Being a University Student in Sri Lanka”.

We invite work that interrogates students' positions within the university (public, private, online and offline), over concerns of financial constraints, academic workload, language exclusion and absence/presence of institutional support, ragging, employability in a job market with AI hype, and the complex politics of collective action be it in student unions or other groups.

Theme: ““Struggles and Politics of Being a University Student in Sri Lanka”

Accepted mediums: Poems, Short Stories, Zines, Comics, Photo-Essays, Drawings, Paintings, Memes, Conceptual Photos, Collages, Collaborative Art, and Adaptations of Art

Prizes:
Winner – LKR 7,000
Runner-Ups – LKR 3,000
Selected works will be showcased on the Artivism Corner.

This Muragala l Centre for Progressive Politics & Policy webinar report documents the impact of the 20% United States tariffs on Sri Lanka from the perspective of trade unions and considers what these developments mean for workers’ rights under the National People’s Party (NPP) government.

The webinar speakers were Rusiripala Tennakoon (Former Convener, Ceylon Bank Employees’ Union), Dilakson Suresh (Administrative Coordinator, Free Trade Zones and General Services Employees Union), Lalitha Ranjani Dedduwa Kumara (Chief Organiser, Textile Garment & Clothing Workers Union), and Chathura Samarasinghe (General Secretary, Ceylon Estate Staffs’ Union). The webinar was moderated by Harindra B. Dassanayake (Muragala | CPPP).
