The Rotary Club of Colombo Fort is a vibrant, mid size Club in the District 3220 Sri Lanka. The Club's achievements during last 25 years are remarkable, both in community service and fellowship. ive. The Rotary Club of Colombo Fort has a reputation within Rotary circles as a Club that upholds Rotary principles and ethics. The Club has a long history of implementing numerous community service projects ranging from small schemes to large Rotary Matching Grant projects. The landmark projects the Club has implemented includes a fully fledged Blood Bank Project, a modern Thalassemia Referral Centre, Irrigation Tank Restoration at Pattiyawela and Trincomalee / Alle-Kantale Housing Schemes for the Poor. With the assistance of Rotary Club of Bendigo, Sandhurst, the Club recently donated a fully equipped Dental Caravan to be used in the Northern part of Sri Lanka and completed a Community Housing Project in Ambalangoda, building 70 houses on 4 acres of land to house displaced families after the Tsunami.
