Centre for Peacebuilding and Reconciliation (cpbr) as an organization promotes non-violent
conflict transformation , diversity, power sharing and interdependency in order to build,
heal, nurture and transform relationships between diverse ethnic, religious, regional,
sociocultural communities and humans in Sri Lanka during last 20 Years. In that journey cpbr have created unique safer space for rel
igious leaders, women and
youth while weaving the human web. In that exploration WOMAN is the sister wing of cpbr
through which cpbr works with diverse age and categories of women in order create safer
space for women to see, experience, read and interpret. As per the consultation brought by a Young member of WOMAN , in the strategic planning
workshop took place in 2020 cpbr together with its sister wing WOMAN decided to design
and launch an initiative for Young women who are from diverse ethnic, religious, regional,
sociocultural and educational background. This idea and dream led to launch the interfaith & Inter ethnic young women initiative
named YUWADHEE ; An Odyssey of Reviewing , Recreating and Recrafting Life through
Celebrating womanhood while embracing youthfulness, colorfulness & wisdom of life in
order to experience happiness and blossoming in 2021.
