✊✊⚖️ අද දින (21) අනුරාධපුර ළමා අපයෝජන නඩුව නැවත කැඳවූ අවස්ථාවේදී ගැමි කාන්තා පෙරමුණ නියෝජනය කරමින් මෙවර ද නීතීඥවරියන් සිව් දෙනෙකුගේ කණ්ඩායමක් පෙනී සිටියහ. මෙහිදී දැකගත හැකි වූ දෙයක් වූයේ දැරිය වෙනුවෙන් විවිධ සංවිධාන, කණ්ඩායම් සහ පුද්ගලයන් පසුගිය නඩුවාරයේ නීතීඥ නියෝජනය ලබාදී තිබුණ ද මෙවර එය සීමා සහිත වීමයි. නීතිපති දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නියෝජනය ද මෙවර දැරිය වෙනුවෙන් නොතිබිණි. ඒ අනුව සිවිල් සංවිධාන නීතීඥ නියෝජනය මෙවර අගතියට පත් පාර්ශවය වෙනුවෙන් සිදුවූ කැපී පෙනෙන සිදුවීමක් විය. සුපුරුදු පරිදි මෙවර ද සැකකාර හිමිනම වෙනුවෙන් ජනාධිපති නීතීඥවරුන් ඇතුළු 20 දෙනෙකුගේ පමණ කණ්ඩායමක් පෙනී සිටියහ.
සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මූලික මහේස්ත්‍රාත් විමර්ශනය සිදු කෙරෙන අනුරාධපුර අධිකරණය වෙත අද දින වන විට DNA වාර්තා 3 ක් ලැබී තිබිණි. තවද වින්දිත දැරියගේ මානසික සෞඛ්‍ය පිළිබඳ වාර්තාවක් ගැනීම සඳහා රාගම රෝහලේ විශේෂඥ මනෝවෛද්‍යවරයෙකු වෙත නොතීසි නිකුත් කිරීම ද සිදුවිය. සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධ දුරකථන ඇමතුම් වාර්තා අද දිනය වන විට ද ලැබී නොතිබිණි. ඒ අනුව ඉදිරි නඩු දිනය වශයෙන් දිගු දිනයක් වන 2027 ජනවාරි 8 වැනිදා ලබාදීම සිදුවිය.
සැකකාර පල්ලේගම හේමරතන හිමි අද දින ද සුපුරුදු පරිදි කිසිදු ගේට්ටු පරීක්ෂාවකින් තොරව, විනිසුරුවරුන් නීතීඥවරුන් සහ අධිකරණ කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය පැමිණෙන ගේට්ටුවෙන් පැමිණ ඇති බව ට අධිකරණය ඉදිරියේ නීතීඥවරයෙකු විසින් මතු කරන ලදී. මෙය ගරු විනිසුරුගේ අවධානයට යොමු වූ අතර, අධිකරණයේ ආරක්ෂාව භාරව සිටින ස්ථානාධිපතිවරයාගෙන් මේ සම්බන්ධව විමර්ශන වාර්තාවක් කැඳවන ලෙස ද අද දින නියෝග නිකුත් කෙරිණි.

මෙවර ද ගැමි කාන්තා පෙරමුණ සංවිධානයේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් සහ සංවිධාන ශක්තියෙන් යුතුව අධිකරණ පරිශ්‍රය ඉදිරිපිට නිහඬ විරෝධතාව පැවැත්විණි. මේ සඳහා ගැමි කාන්තා පෙරමුණ ප්‍රමුඛ ගාල්ල, නුවර, මහියංගන දිස්ත්‍රික්කවල සිවිල් හා ප්‍රජාමූල සංවිධාන එක්ව සිටි අතර, කොළඹ සිට ක්‍රියාත්මක වන සිවිල් සංවිධාන අතරින් විරෝධතාවය සඳහා එක්ව සිටියේ පරිවර්තන් 𝙿𝙰𝚁𝙸𝚅𝙰𝚁𝚃𝙰𝙽 සංවිධානය පමණි. පසුගිය ජූනි මස නඩුව මුල් වරට ගැණුනු දිනයේ සිට ගාල්ල ගැමි කාන්තා පෙරමුණ මෙම නිහඬ විරෝධයේ නියමුවා ලෙස කටයුතු කරයි.
මෙම සංවිධාන නියෝජනය කරමින් සුදු ඇඳි කතුන් 50කට ආසන්න ප්‍රමාණයක්, කඳුළු සළන කුඩා දැරියක් සිහිගන්වන බෝනික්කන් ඔසවා ගනිමින් යුක්තිය වෙනුවෙන් කළ නිර්මාණශීලී නිහඬ මෙහෙයුම වෘත්තීය ඡායාරූප ශිල්පියෙකුගේ කැමරා කාචයක මැනවින් සටහන් ව තිබේ. ‘‘අපි කොහොමද බය නැතුව දරුවන් පන්සලට යවන්නේ?‘, ‘අපේ අරගලය ධාර්මිකයි‘ වැනි නිර්මාණශීලී වැකි ඒවායේ සටහන් ව තිබිණි.
🕊️ Rural Women's Front's Unbroken Fight for the Anuradhapura Child Abuse Case – A Silent Protest by Women in White ✊
Today (21st), as the Anuradhapura child abuse case was recalled in court, a team of four female lawyers appeared representing the Gami Kantha Peramuna (Rural Women’s Front).
Notably, while various organizations, groups, and individuals provided legal representation for the young victim during the previous hearing, such representation was severely limited this time. The Attorney General's Department was also absent in representing the victim. Consequently, civil society legal representation became a crucial lifeline for the aggrieved party. Meanwhile, as usual, a massive legal team of about 20 lawyers, including President’s Counsels, appeared on behalf of the suspect monk.
🔬 Regarding the investigation:
As of today, 3 DNA reports have been submitted to the Anuradhapura Magistrate's Court conducting the inquiry. A notice was also issued to a psychiatrist at Ragama Hospital to obtain a report on the victim's mental health. However, the telephone call records related to the incident have STILL NOT been received. Due to these delays, the court set the next hearing date for a distant future: January 8, 2027.
🚨 Bypassing Court Security:
In court today, a lawyer pointed out that the suspect, Palllegama Hemarathana Thero, once again entered the court through a gate used by judges, lawyers, and court staff—completely bypassing standard security checks. Drawing the judge's attention to this, the court ordered the official in charge of court security to submit an investigation report on the matter.
✊ The Silent Protest:
Once again, led by the RWF, a powerful silent protest was held outside the court premises. Community and civil organizations from Galle, Kandy, and Mahiyanganaya districts joined forces. Among Colombo-based civil organizations, only the 'PARIVARTAN' organization stood in solidarity with the protest. The RWF has been leading this silent protest since the very first hearing back in June, 2026.
Nearly 50 women dressed in white participated in this creative and emotional silent demonstration. Holding dolls to symbolize the weeping little girl, they demanded justice for her. The powerful scene, captured through the lens of a professional photographer, featured creative placards reading: "How can we send our children to the temple without fear?" and "Our struggle is righteous."
We will not back down. Justice must be served. ⚖️
