𝙿𝙰𝚁𝙸𝚅𝙰𝚁𝚃𝙰𝙽 Radika Gunaratne
This , we recognize the exceptional commitment of Radika Gunaratne, an Attorney-at-Law and certified Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) trainer with over a decade of experience advancing gender justice and strengthening responses to sexual and gender-based violence in Sri Lanka.
Through her work supporting women and marginalized communities, and by building the capacities of justice sector institutions through training and advocacy, including under UNDP-supported initiatives such as the Support to Justice Sector Project (JURE), funded by the European Union in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, in partnership with the Ministry of Justice, and implemented by UNDP and UNICEF Sri Lanka, Radika contributes to creating more inclusive and responsive legal systems. Her published work on gender justice, SGBV, land rights and economic justice reflect her dedication to structural reform and legal empowerment.
As the Founder and Executive Director of PARIVARTAN, an intersectional feminist organization working to mainstream gender justice, Radika demonstrates how visionary leadership, collaboration and resilience can challenge discrimination and inspire young women to pursue justice-driven change in their communities.
