Five agri-food companies from Sri Lanka are meeting potential buyers for their products at the SIAL 2026 trade fair, currently taking place in Paris, France. Kahawatte Plantations, Nootz (cCeylon Exports), Pasanka PVT LTD, Worga Naturals - Pvt Ltd and Healthy Foods Lanka Export Pvt Ltd are presenting a range that includes Ceylon tea, Ceylon cinnamon, spices, herbs, dehydrated fruits, organic jackfruit, ready-to-use curry mixes and coconut smoothies. The BESPA-FOOD project, funded by European Union in Sri Lanka and the Maldives and implemented by UNIDO - United Nations Industrial Development Organization, supported the companies in obtaining certifications that buyers look for, including organic, BRCGS, ISO 22000, GLOBALG.A.P. and Fairtrade, and is now enabling them to hold one-to-one meetings with buyers at the fair. The companies are exhibiting at the Sri Lanka Pavilion organised by [] in Hall 4 until 21 October.
