The National Muslim Assembly or ‘NMA’ is a non-sectarian civil organization formed by an independent body of Sri Lankan Muslims comprising of Sri Lankan nationals from private, business, academic and professional spheres alike. Inaugurated on the 26th April 2021, the NMA is comprised of representations from the four Sri Lankan Muslim ethnic denominations, namely the Sri Lankan Moors, Sri Lankan Malays, Sri Lankan Memons and the Sri Lankan Dawoodi Bohrahs.
