We are delighted to share that Umar Shamroz has departed to represent Sri Lanka at the 12th Indonesia National Scout Jamboree, taking place from 13th to 21st August 2026 at the Cibubur Scout Camp in Jakarta.

We are incredibly proud of Umar and wish him a safe journey and an unforgettable Jamboree experience.

May he carry the spirit of Sri Lanka and the values of Scouting with pride, make new friendships, learn new things, and return home with wonderful memories and stories to share.

✈️🇱🇰 Bon Voyage, Scouts! 🇰🇷⚜️

With great pride and excitement, we wish Shihab, Umar Shimam, and Aadhil a safe journey and a memorable adventure as they depart for South Korea to participate in the 16th Korea National Jamboree, taking place at Mt. Seorak from 5th to 9th August 2026.

This international gathering is a wonderful opportunity to build friendships across borders, embrace new cultures, develop leadership skills, and live the true spirit of Scouting. We are proud to see our Scouts representing Sri Lanka on the global stage.

May your journey be safe, your experiences unforgettable, and your time at the jamboree filled with learning, adventure, and lifelong memories.

🏕️ 2nd MOASQAR 2026 🏕️

Our annual Scout Camp, MOASQAR 2026, was successfully held at Al Mubarak School, Malwana. The Air Scout Troop, together with nine other Scout troops from our school, proudly participated in this signature event.

Over the course of the camp, our Scouts took part in a wide range of exciting activities, hands-on training sessions, outdoor adventures, team-building challenges, and leadership development programs. It was a perfect blend of learning, friendship, fun, and unforgettable memories.

The camp provided every Scout with valuable life skills, greater confidence, and experiences that will stay with them for years to come. Seeing our Scouts challenge themselves, work as a team, and enjoy every moment made the event truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to all the organizers, Scout Leaders, volunteers, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make MOASQAR 2026 a memorable and rewarding experience for all.

We are truly grateful to the Bristol Institute for hosting an excellent Career Guidance and Leadership Development Session for our scouts today at their institute.

Our young scouts gained valuable insights, practical knowledge, and inspiration that will undoubtedly help them shape their future goals and aspirations. The session was both educational and engaging, and the boys thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A special note of appreciation goes to Mr.Dilshad Jiffry, COO of Bristol Institute, for giving us this wonderful opportunity, and to Mr. Hubaib for conducting such an informative and interactive session.

Thank you for investing your time and expertise in developing the next generation of leaders. We look forward to many more opportunities to collaborate and empower our youth.

Celebrating Tradition, Strengthening Brotherhood!!!

In scouting, we don’t just learn skills, we learn values, heritage, and identity. Our culture connects us to who we are, teaches us respect, unity, and gratitude, and reminds us of the importance of community. As scouts, embracing our traditions helps build character and pride in our roots while creating meaningful memories together. 🇱🇰

What a fantastic and fun-filled day it was!

Our Avurudu Games turned out to be a great success, filled with laughter and true Sri Lankan spirit. From exciting traditional games to joyful moments shared among the boys, it was wonderful to see the young ones are actively participating and enjoying themselves to the fullest.

These moments go beyond fun! they strengthen bonds, teach teamwork, and keep our beautiful traditions alive for the next generation.

👏 Well done to all who took part and contributed to making this day so special!

Today’s scouting class was packed with energy and excitement as we played a game that becomes especially popular during the Sri Lankan festive season, "Tug of War"!

Our scouts gave it their all, pulling with strength, teamwork, and determination. It was amazing to see their spirit and coordination in action. Most importantly, they had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed every moment!

Scouting is not just about skills. It’s about fun, teamwork, and building lasting memories.

Fun learning continues!

Icebreakers play a vital role in keeping our young scouts engaged and excited to learn. This week, we introduced the “Pick the Clip” game, and it was a huge hit!

The boys had an amazing time, full of laughter and energy. It’s always great to see them learning while having fun.
