Celebrating Tradition, Strengthening Brotherhood!!!

In scouting, we don’t just learn skills, we learn values, heritage, and identity. Our culture connects us to who we are, teaches us respect, unity, and gratitude, and reminds us of the importance of community. As scouts, embracing our traditions helps build character and pride in our roots while creating meaningful memories together. 🇱🇰

What a fantastic and fun-filled day it was!

Our Avurudu Games turned out to be a great success, filled with laughter and true Sri Lankan spirit. From exciting traditional games to joyful moments shared among the boys, it was wonderful to see the young ones are actively participating and enjoying themselves to the fullest.

These moments go beyond fun! they strengthen bonds, teach teamwork, and keep our beautiful traditions alive for the next generation.

👏 Well done to all who took part and contributed to making this day so special!

Today’s scouting class was packed with energy and excitement as we played a game that becomes especially popular during the Sri Lankan festive season, "Tug of War"!

Our scouts gave it their all, pulling with strength, teamwork, and determination. It was amazing to see their spirit and coordination in action. Most importantly, they had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed every moment!

Scouting is not just about skills. It’s about fun, teamwork, and building lasting memories.

Fun learning continues!

Icebreakers play a vital role in keeping our young scouts engaged and excited to learn. This week, we introduced the “Pick the Clip” game, and it was a huge hit!

The boys had an amazing time, full of laughter and energy. It’s always great to see them learning while having fun.

In scouting, our young members get the opportunity to explore a wide range of skills, and one of the most exciting among them is adventure!

This week, our boys took on the challenge of rope climbing. With great enthusiasm, they learned the basics while pushing their limits and building confidence.

It was a fun-filled experience, and we’re proud of their courage and spirit!

Unity Iftar 2026 – “Scouts for Peace”

On the 21st of February 2026, our Air Scouts participated in Unity Iftar 2026 – “Scouts for Peace”, a meaningful evening organized by our very own Scout Group in collaboration with the Colombo District Scout Association.

The program brought together brother Scouts from different schools across Colombo, strengthening the true spirit of Scouting unity, brotherhood, and peace.

As we gathered to break fast together, the atmosphere was filled with friendship, understanding, and mutual respect. The event served as a beautiful reminder that Scouting goes beyond uniforms and badges. It builds bridges between hearts.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported, participated, and made this event a success. Together, we continue to stand as Scouts for Peace, promoting harmony and unity in our community.

During our last week’s scouting session, we played an exciting game called “Sudden Attack” ⚡️
The boys absolutely loved it and were fully engaged throughout the activity.

Games play a vital role in scouting sessions as they help build teamwork, leadership, quick decision-making, discipline, and physical fitness—all while making learning fun and memorable. Through play, scouts develop important life skills in an enjoyable and practical way.
