Annual Trip of St. Peter Claver Institute, Chilaw to Trincomalee
On the 4th of July, the children of St. Peter Claver Institute, together with their family members and staff, set out on an exciting annual journey to Trincomalee. The trip was filled with memorable experiences, beginning with a visit to the historic Welgama Raja Maha Viharaya. From there, the group explored the famous hot water springs, marvelling at nature’s wonder, before heading to the sacred Koneswaram Temple.
The adventure continued with a stop at the Army Museum, where everyone gained valuable insights into Sri Lanka’s history, followed by a walk across the iconic Kenya Bridge and a breathtaking view of the Trincomalee Harbour.
For many families, this was their very first experience in Trincomalee, making the trip extra special. Laughter, learning, and joy filled every moment, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. It was truly a day of discovery, bonding, and happiness for all.
