Puthukkudiyiruppu Livelihood strengthening– Youth Career Guidance, Life Skills & Work Readiness Workshop
(A two-day) commenced today in Puthukkudiyiruppu.
The workshop is being facilitated with the support of a Vocational Training Authority (VTA) resource person, focusing on career awareness, career planning, essential life skills, workplace readiness and preparing Caurriculam, Resume for youth future employment and vocational training opportunities.
The program aims to strengthen the confidence, decision-making skills and employability of participating youth and support them in developing realistic career and personal development plans.

A Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme on Labour Rights, Workplace Safety and Prevention of Exploitation continues for Puthukkudiyiruppu 30 youth leaders, facilitators and local stakeholders on 11 September 2026 at the Puthukkudiyiruppu Pradeshiya Sabha Hall.
The session facilitates by the Mullaitivu District In-Charge / Senior Labour Officer, who provided practical knowledge on workers’ rights, workplace safety,responsibilities of employers and employees, and mechanisms for preventing and reporting workplace exploitation.
