A Month After Ditwah, the Struggle Continues πŸ‡±πŸ‡°

Cyclone Ditwah brought the worst flood and landslide disaster Sri Lanka has seen in a decade. Today, the water may be receding, but the devastation remains.

Families are still unable to return to their homes. Livelihoods have been washed away, and crops- the lifeblood of our communities are destroyed.

At the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, we made a promise: We won't leave them behind. Together with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), we are on the ground delivering:

πŸ“¦ Emergency Relief for the displaced. πŸ’° Cash assistance to jump-start livelihoods. πŸ₯ Vital health and hygiene services to those in need.

We need you with us.

An Emergency Appeal has been launched to help 600,000 people get back on their feet. Every donation, no matter the size, helps a mother, a child, or a farmer find their strength again.
