Founded in 1951, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a not-for profit association that is internationally acclaimed for acting as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from and within the Asia Pacific region. Bringing together travel professionals, destinations, businesses, and industry leaders from around the world, WTM London offers opportunities to exchange ideas, explore emerging trends, and build connections across the travel and tourism sector.

PATA will be there, connecting with industry colleagues and engaging in conversations about the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of travel.

Congratulations to Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority – Korea on winning Gold in the “Destination Marketing Campaign (DMO – Pacific)” category at the 2026 PATA Gold Awards! 🌺🌴

Their “Hawaiʻi Summer Consumer Campaign: Experience Hawaiʻi in Korea” brought the spirit of Hawaiʻi to Korean audiences through immersive experiences across 14 Hyundai Department Store branches, featuring hands-on hula, ukulele, and cooking classes.

The campaign welcomed more than 400,000 visitors to its flagship pop-up and contributed to a 22% increase in year-end Korean arrivals to Hawaiʻi. 🌊
