Healing, Resilience and Nonviolent Empowerment for Children Impacted by Armed Conflict in Lebanon
This project has previously received funding from the European Union. OBJECTIVES
- Reduced trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety & improved resilience, healing, sleep, among 6.000 children impacted by armed conflict in Lebanon
- Reduced frequency and severity of violence, criminal activity, recruitment, a
ggression, anger, grief, enmity, extremism & strengthened connectedness, human values, positive self-esteem and outlook among 400 targeted youth in Lebanon
- 100 youth have the wellbeing, confidence, values and skills to be effective change agents preventing violence in their communities
- Improved well being, resilience and performance capacity of 300 teachers and frontline workers working with children on the ground
- 40 frontline workers are effective multipliers for Stress Relief and Resilience for children in their schools and communities
- Statistical evidence of project impact, increased understanding of driving factors and effective interventions, lessons learned and integrated in report and future projects, evidence and inspiration for multiplication in the professional field
- Increased awareness and understanding among officials and practitioners of needs and risks of children impacted by armed conflict
