Under the project Restoring Water Services and Increasing Awareness on Water Conservation in North Lebanon, Meniyye, Denniyye area, funded by AECID, LebRelief in collaboration with NLWE and in coordination with Deir Ammar Municipality is making a real difference in people’s daily lives. 💧
In Deir Ammar, North Lebanon, families had long been struggling with an old and damaged water network, where constant leaks meant wasted water and an unreliable supply.
Today, that has changed. Through the rehabilitation of the water network, more than 1,000 households now have reliable access to safe water. By replacing the damaged infrastructure with a 150mm ductile iron transmission line and a new HDPE distribution network, the project is not only improving access—but also protecting a vital resource for the whole community.
LebRelief will remain committed to supporting communities and safeguarding water for future generations.
