Leb Relief Humanitarian non-political NGO

LebRelief (LRC) is a Non-Governmental and Non-Political organization that intends to provide aid to people who have been forced out of their homes to reside in Lebanon due to the uprisings, violence, and insecurity that have been taking place in their countries. LebRelief also focuses on decreasing the burden on both Syrian Refugees and Lebanese hosting communities in order to relief tension rising between both parties and avoid any further clash. LRC aims to offer all the assistance needed by all who had been affected by the war in Syria, in order to maintain a healthy joint community of Lebanese and Syrian in a healthy environment. LebRelief aims to:
- Submit humanitarian services in the development field to all segments of the Lebanese society, especially for indigent and afflicted, by coordinating with official and domestic specialized authorities.
- Achieve sustainable development through volunteering.
- Increase interest in volunteering initiatives through openness towards international experiments in the development field.

Do You Have a Talent for Sewing or a Passion for Upcycling Clothes?

Funded by Al Madad Foundation, LebRelief Association, in cooperation with Salam Halba Club Association, announces the opening of registration for a training program for women focused on sewing, clothing upcycling, and developing practical skills.

The Training Program Covers:
- Sewing and skills development
- Upcycling clothes and transforming them into new, creative, and useful items
- Developing practical skills that can help participants work and generate income from home

Who Can Participate?
The program is specifically designed for women who are the primary providers for their children or who contribute to their family income, and who are interested in sewing and handicrafts.

Under the project Restoring Water Services and Increasing Awareness on Water Conservation in North Lebanon, Meniyye, Denniyye area, funded by AECID, LebRelief in collaboration with NLWE and in coordination with Deir Ammar Municipality is making a real difference in people’s daily lives. 💧

In Deir Ammar, North Lebanon, families had long been struggling with an old and damaged water network, where constant leaks meant wasted water and an unreliable supply.

Today, that has changed. Through the rehabilitation of the water network, more than 1,000 households now have reliable access to safe water. By replacing the damaged infrastructure with a 150mm ductile iron transmission line and a new HDPE distribution network, the project is not only improving access—but also protecting a vital resource for the whole community.

LebRelief will remain committed to supporting communities and safeguarding water for future generations.

💧Every drop matters… and every household has a role to play.

In North Lebanon – Meniyye and Denniyye, through the project “Restoring Water Services and Increasing Awareness on Water Conservation”, Funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and implemented by Lebrelief, awareness activities were carried out to promote sustainable water use.
In Nabi Youchaa, the Lebrelief team met with local residents and shared practical awareness messages on water conservation, climate change, and wastewater management.
To turn awareness into daily practice, water-saving devices were distributed to approximately 450 households, including float valves for water tanks, water-saving faucets, and showerheads.

في شمال لبنان – المنية والضنية،
ومن خلال مشروع "إعادة تأهيل خدمات المياه وتعزيز الوعي على ترشيد استهلاك المياه"، المموَّل من قبل الوكالة الإسبانية للتعاون الدولي من أجل التنمية (AECID) والمنفَّذ من قبل جمعية الإغاثة اللبنانية (Lebrelief)، تم تنفيذ أنشطة توعوية لتعزيز الاستخدام المستدام للمياه.
وفي منطقة النبي يوشع تحديدًا، التقى فريق Lebrelief بالأهالي وشاركهم معلومات توعوية عملية حول ترشيد استهلاك المياه، التغير المناخي، وإدارة مياه الصرف الصحي.
ولتحويل الوعي إلى ممارسة فعلية، تم توزيع أدوات لتوفير المياه على نحو 450 أسرة، شملت عوامات لخزانات المياه، حنفيات موفّرة للمياه، ورؤوس دوش موفّرة.

خطوات صغيرة اليوم… لأثر كبير بكرا.

We were pleased to welcome the Spanish delegation led by Ms. Eva Granados, State Secretary for International Cooperation, and representatives from AECID and the Spanish Embassy in Lebanon during their visit to our water project sites in North Lebanon 🇪🇸🇱🇧

The visit showcased ongoing activities under the AECID-funded project “Restoring Water Services and Increasing Awareness on Water Conservation in North Lebanon,” implemented by LebRelief. Through rehabilitating water networks in Syr and Deir Ammar and supporting the maintenance of 18 boreholes across North Lebanon and installing solar farm for Nabi Youchaa borehole. the project is improving access to safe water for over 400,000 people.

The delegation visited the solar farm in Minieh – Nabi Youchaa, helping ensure reliable and sustainable energy for water production. A special thank you to the Municipality of Minieh for donating the land and supporting this important initiative.

We extend our sincere thanks to AECID, the Spanish Government, the Spanish Embassy, the North Lebanon Water Establishment, and local authorities for their continued trust and collaboration. This visit reflects Spain’s strong commitment to sustainable development and solidarity with the people of Lebanon, particularly in the water sector.
