Through shared learning and collaboration, they’re building trust, challenging stereotypes, and creating new bridges between communities. 🎥🤝

As part of the Integrated Livelihood and Social Cohesion Response for IDPs project, implemented in partnership with , .media at SHiFT brought together around 150 displaced and host community women from South Lebanon and the Syrian and Lebanese communities for interactive theatre sessions led by the .theatre

Held at Farah Antoun School and May School, the sessions created a safe space for women to share their stories, express their emotions, and connect through shared experiences. By discovering the common threads in their journeys, participants strengthened empathy, solidarity, and social cohesion through the power of storytelling and interactive theatre.

ضمن مشروع “الاستجابة المتكاملة لسبل العيش والتماسك الاجتماعي للنازحين” والمنفذ بالشراكة مع مختبر شدّة من SHiFT و Triple 11 جلسات مسرح تفاعلي بالتعاون مع فريق شبابيك، جمعت حوالي 150 سيدة من العائلات النازحة من جنوب لبنان ومن المجتمعين اللبناني والسوري.

أُقيمت الجلسات في مدرستي فرح أنطون وماي في طرابلس، وشكّلت مساحة آمنة للسيدات للتعبير عن مشاعرهن، ومشاركة قصصهن وتجاربهن. ومن خلال المسرح التفاعلي، اكتشفت المشاركات أن ما يجمعهن من مشاعر وتجارب يفوق اختلافاتهن، مما ساهم في تعزيز التعاطف والتضامن والتماسك الاجتماعي.

Following the emergency response efforts, SHiFT, in partnership with the World Food Programme World Food Programme, is leading the distribution of hot meals across the governorates of North Lebanon and Akkar.

As of today, this initiative has supported more than 87 collective shelters, ensuring that displaced individuals have access to nutritious, ready-to-eat meals during a challenging time. Since 22 May, we have distributed 151,630 hot meals, providing immediate food assistance to those most in need and helping communities navigate the ongoing crisis with dignity and care.

We are grateful to our partners, field teams, and volunteers whose dedication makes this response possible. Together, we remain committed to supporting affected communities and delivering timely humanitarian assistance where it is needed most.

في إطار جهود الاستجابة الطارئة، تتولى جمعية "شفت"، بالشراكة مع برنامج الأغذية العالمي، توزيع الوجبات الساخنة في محافظتي لبنان الشمالي وعكار.

وحتى اليوم، أسهمت هذه المبادرة في دعم أكثر من 87 مركز إيواء جماعي، بما يضمن حصول النازحين على وجبات غذائية مغذية وجاهزة للأكل في ظل الظروف الصعبة.
ومنذ 22 أيار، قمنا بتوزيع 151,630 وجبة ساخنة، مقدّمين بذلك مساعدات غذائية فورية للأسر والأفراد الأكثر احتياجًا، ومساندين المجتمعات المتأثرة على مواجهة الأزمة المستمرة بكرامة ورعاية.

As part of the “Tripoli Peace Initiative: Preserving Stability in Lebanon” project, the residents of Abu Samra are launching a community fundraising campaign to support a project aimed at addressing the issue of stray dogs in the area.
The growing presence of stray dogs poses health and safety risks to residents, particularly children and older persons, and limits the safe use of public spaces. The project seeks to create a safer and healthier environment for everyone by implementing sustainable and humane solutions that contribute to improving public safety and enhancing the quality of life within the community.
