With the aim of strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations and local stakeholders TARABUT Program, implemented by Safadi Foundation in collaboration with the Spanish Foundation AIDA and funded by the European Union, conducted five training sessions focused on the importance of equality between men and women and conflict sensitivity. استجابةً لأزمة النزوح في لبنان، تنفذّ مؤسسة الصفدي، بالتعاون مع منظمة العمل الدولية (ILO)، وبالشراكة مع وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية ومن خلال برنامج ENABLE المموّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي، تدريبات مهنية قائمة على العمل في مجال إنتاج المؤونة التقليدية.
تستهدف هذه التدريبات الشبان والشابات المتأثرين بالأزمة، وتهدف إلى تزويدهم بمهارات عملية في الإنتاج الآمن والصحي للمنتجات الغذائية التقليدية. ويتمّ تنفيذ هذه المبادرة في كل من عكار والكورة وطرابلس، حيث تجمع بين تنمية المهارات ودعم المجتمع، مما يتيح للمستفيدين اكتساب خبرة عملية مباشرة والمساهمة في إعداد منتجات غذائية سيتم توزيعها على النازحين المقيمين في مراكز الإيواء.
In response to the displacement crisis in Lebanon, Safadi Foundation, in cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO), in collaboration with the ministry of Social Affairs and through the European Union Funded ENABLE Programme, is implementing work bases training on the production of tradional preserved food Mooneh.

The training targets young women and men affected by the crisis and aims to equip them with practical skills in the safe and healthy production of traditional food products, Implemented across Akkar, Koura and Tripoli, the initiative combines skills development with community support, enabling participants to gain hands on experience while contributing to the preparation of food products that will be distributed to displaced individuals residing in shelter centers.

جال وفد من منظمة العمل الدولية ، ضمّ منسقة المشروع الوطني في المنظمة السيدة رانيا حكيّم و مسؤولة برنامج المهارات والتوظيف والمرونة ضمن برنامج ENABLE في منظمة العمل الدولية السيدة جوي ضاهر، برفقة فريق عمل مؤسسة الصفدي، بزيارة مراكز التدريب التي تُنفَّذ فيها دورات في إنتاج المواد الغذائية وتشغيل الآلات الصناعية. وتُنفذّ مؤسسة الصفدي هذه الدورات بالتعاون مع منظمة العمل الدولية، وبالشراكة مع وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية ومن خلال برنامج ENABLE المموّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
وتهدف هذه الدورات إلى تزويد الشباب والشابات بمهارات تقنية تعزّز فرصهم في العمل، إلى جانب المساهمة في الاستجابة لأزمة النزوح. كما يتم توزيع المنتجات الغذائية التي يُعدّها المتدربون مباشرةً على العائلات المقيمة في مختلف مراكز الإيواء.

A delegation from the International Labour Organization ILO, including National Coordinator Officer Ms Rania Hokkayem and skills, Employment and Resilience Program Manager within the ENABLE Program at the International Labour Organization. Ms. Joy Daher, accompanied by Safadi Foundation team, visited training centers where courses in food production and machine operation are being implemented. The courses are delivered by the Safadi foundation in cooperation with the ILO, in collaboration with the ministry of Social Affairs and through the European Union-funded ENABLE programme.
These courses aim to equip young men and women with technical skills that enhance that enhance their employment prospects, while also contributing to the response to the displacement crisis. Food products prepared by the trainees are distributed directly to families residing in various shelter centers.

To enhance local development and support partnerships between the public and private sectors, the Safadi Foundation, through TARABUT project implemented in cooperation with the Spanish organization AIDA and funded by the European Union, held four training workshops with the participation of local stakeholders from the public sector.

لقطات من برنامج تدريب المدربين (TOT) على تشغيل الآلات، والذي يهدف إلى تزويد المدربين بالمهارات اللازمة لتدريب النساء والرجال الشباب لاحقا ضمن برنامج التدريب القائم على العمل، الذي تنفذه مؤسسة الصفدي بالتعاون مع وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية ومنظمة العمل الدولية (ILO)، من خلال برنامج ENABLE المموّل من الاتحاد الأوروبي.

خصّص مشروع ترابط الذي تنفذّه مؤسسة الصفدي بالتعاون مه AIDA الاسبانية وبتمويل من الاتحاد الاوروربي دورة تدريبية لبناء قدرات الشركات حول دمج أهداف التنمية المستدامة في ممارسات القطاع الخاص، بما يشمل الحوكمة المؤسسية والمسؤولية الاجتماعية وتعزيز المشاركة في صنع القرار، وذلك بإشراف الخبير هاني عنان.

TARABUT Project, implemented by Safadi Foundation in collaboration with AIDA and funded by the European Union, organized a training workshop aimed at strengthening companies’ capacities to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into private sector practices, including corporate governance, social responsibility, and participation in decision-making, under the supervision of expert Hani Anan.

في أجواء من التعاون والدعم المستمر للقطاع الزراعي، واصلت مؤسسة الصفدي تنفيذ المرحلة الثانية من توزيع المعدات الزراعية ضمن مشروع تحسين استدامة وصناعة الأغذية الزراعية وإنتاجيّتها، الذي تنفّذه بالشراكة مع AIDA الإسبانية وبدعم من الوكالة الإسبانية للتنمية AECID، وذلك في مركز الصفدي للتنمية الريفية في عكار. وشملت هذه المرحلة مزارعين ومزارعات شاركوا في مختلف أنشطة المشروع التدريبية والتطبيقية، بهدف تعزيز قدراتهم الإنتاجية ودعم استدامة عملهم الزراعي. هذا و تشكر إدارة المؤسسة فريق عملها سواء في عكار او الضنية على الجهود الكبيرة التي بذلوها لضمان نجاح المرحلة الأولى من عملية التسليم.

In an atmosphere of cooperation and continuous support for the agricultural sector, Safadi Foundation continued the implementation of the second phase of agricultural equipment distribution within the project Improving the Sustainability, Productivity, and Agro-Food Processing Industry,” implemented in partnership with the Spanish organization AIDA and funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation AECID, at Al Safadi Center for Rural Development in Akkar. This phase targeted male and female farmers who participated in the project’s various training and practical activities, with the aim of enhancing their productivity and supporting the sustainability of their agricultural work. The Foundation’s management also extends its gratitude to its teams in both Akkar and Dinnieh for the tremendous efforts they made to ensure the success of the first phase of the distribution process. The photos capture moments from the distribution process and the interaction with beneficiaries during the activity.

تحت عنوان الخدمة بكرامة ، أطلقت مؤسسة الصفدي، بالتعاون مع مجلس كنائس الشرق الأوسط وبدعم من مؤسسة Danmission، دورتين تدريبيتين في مجالي المهارات الرقمية وأعمال البناء الخفيف، وذلك في مركز الصفدي للتنمية الريفية في دير دلوم عكار. وتهدف هذه المبادرة إلى تزويد الشبان والشابات بالمهارات اللازمة و تأمين تدريب مدفوع على فترة ٣ اشهر مما يساعدهم على إيجاد فرص عمل تمكنهم في تأمين سبل عيش كريمة لهم ولعائلاتهم .

MECC - The Middle East Council of Churches

Under the title “Service with Dignity,” Safadi Foundation, in collaboration with MECC-the Middle East Council of Churches and with the support of Danmission, launched two training courses in digital skills and light construction work at Safadi Center for Rural Development in Deir Dalloum, Akkar. This initiative aims to equip young men and women with the necessary skills and provide them with a paid three-month training program, helping them secure job opportunities that enable them to ensure a decent livelihood for themselves and their families.

العلاقة بين المسرح ودوره في بناء جسور التواصل بين مختلف فئات المجتمع كانت محور الجلسة الثانية من TTALKS، مع الفنان المسرحي جورج خباز، الذي قدّم الواقع على خشبة المسرح بأسلوب عفوي يجمع بين الطرافة والعمق. مع الإشارة إلى أنّ هذه الجلسات تنفذها مؤسسة الصفدي ضمن مشروع ترابط بالتعاون مع AIDA الاسبانية وبتمويل من الاتحاد الاوروبي.

European Union in Lebanon

The relationship between theatre and its role in building bridges of communication among different segments of society was the focus of the second TTALKS session, featuring renowned theatre artist George Khabbaz, who brought reality to the stage through a spontaneous style blending humor with depth.
These sessions are implemented by Al Safadi Foundation within the framework of TARABUT Project, in collaboration with AIDA Spain and funded by the European Union.
