Safadi Foundation is one of Lebanon’s largest and well known development organizations based in Tripoli, North Lebanon. The vision of the organization is a cohesive society enriched with opportunities. Safadi Foundation Objectives:
• To lead impactful initiatives that improve the quality of life of all individuals
• To strengthen the role of various groups and ensuring their participation in consolidating development
• To tackle public issues that directly affect the well-being of society and to mobilize the necessary resources to confront them

اختتمت مؤسسة الصفدي، الدورة التدريبية التي نفذّتها في مستشفى أبو جودة في مجال المساعد الصحي، لعدد من الشبان والشابات الطموحين الراغبين في دخول المجال التمريضي.
وتوّجت الدورة بحفل تخرّج، تسلّم خلاله المتدربون شهاداتهم، ليحملوا معها ثمرة جهودهم ومعارفهم، وخطوة جديدة على طريق مستقبل مهني واعد في واحد من أنبل المجالات الإنسانية.
من المساعدة الصحية إلى مهنة التمريض… خطوة جديدة نحو مستقبل أكثر إشراقًا...

Safadi Foundation concluded the training course it conducted at Abou Jaoude Hospital in the field of healthcare assistance, for a number of ambitious young men and women seeking to enter the nursing profession.

The program culminated in a graduation ceremony, during which the trainees received their certificates recognition of their hard work, newly acquired knowledge, and a meaningful step toward a promising professional future in one of the most noble and humanitarian fields.

تنضوي هذه الورشة التدريبية ضمن المشاريع التي يمولّها الإتحاد الاوروبي ضمن إطار برنامج ترابط الذي تنفذّه مؤسسة الصفدي بالتعاون مع ِAIDA الاسبانية.

Between Al-Tell and Al-Mina... Stories Through the Lens

Photos from the unique visual experience the trainees embarked on between Al-Tell and Al-Mina, accompanied by photographer Paul Ghorra, who guided them in exploring the area from new perspectives and capturing details of everyday life, memory, and identity through a different lens.

This training workshop is part of the projects funded by the European Union under the Tarabut Programme, implemented by the Safadi Foundation in partnership with AIDA Spain.

محاضرة الصفدي 2026

تشرف برنامج الصفدي في جامعة شيكاغو باستضافة د. ديفيد ج. أندرسون، الحاصل على درجة الدكتوراه، لإلقاء محاضرة الصفدي لعام 2026 بعنوان "الدوائر العصبية وديناميكيات مجموعات الخلايا العصبية التي تتحكم في السلوكيات الاجتماعية الفطرية وحالاتها الداخلية الكامنة".
حضر معالي السيد محمد الصفدي المحاضرة إلى جانب د. أندرسون، ود. مارك إي. أندرسون، عميد كلية بريتزكر للطب وقسم العلوم البيولوجية في جامعة شيكاغو، إلى جانب د. محمد بيدون، رئيس قسم جراحة الأعصاب، ود. عصام عواد، أستاذ العلوم العصبية. وقد جمعت الفعالية نخبة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والباحثين والمتدربين والطلاب وأفراد مجتمع جامعة شيكاغو، في أمسية مميزة من الحوار العلمي والتبادل المعرفي والتعاون في مجال علوم الأعصاب.
ومن خلال منحها السنوية، يواصل برنامج الصفدي بفخر دعم الطلاب الذين يكرّسون جهودهم لإجراء أبحاث مبتكرة في مجال علوم الأعصاب.

نتقدم بخالص الشكر إلى د. أندرسون وإلى جميع من أسهموا في جعل محاضرة هذا العام مناسبة علمية مميزة وملهمة.

2026 Safadi Lecture

The Safadi Program at the University of Chicago was honored to host David J. Anderson, PhD, for the 2026 Safadi Lecture, “Neural circuits and population dynamics controlling innate social behaviors and their underlying internal states.”
Mr. Mohammad Safadi attended the lecture alongside Dr. Anderson, Dr. Mark E. Anderson, Dean of the Pritzker School of Medicine and the Biological Sciences Division at the University of Chicago, as well as Dr. Mohamad Bydon, Chair of Neurological Surgery, and Dr. Issam Awad, Professor of Neurological Sciences. The event brought together faculty, trainees, students, and members of the University of Chicago community for an engaging afternoon of neuroscience, scientific exchange, and collaboration.
Through its annual grants, the Safadi Program also proudly supports students pursuing innovative research in neuroscience.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Anderson and everyone who made this year’s lecture a meaningful and inspiring event.

المراهقون اليوم… شباب المستقبل!

في ILEAD Camp، لم تكن التجربة مجرد مخيم صيفي، بل رحلة لاكتشاف الذات، وبناء الثقة، وتطوير مهارات القيادة. من خلال الأنشطة والتحديات، تعلّم المشاركون التعاون، والتواصل، والتفكير، واتخاذ المبادرة والأهم، اكتشفوا قدراتهم وآمنوا بأنفسهم.

لأننا عندما نمنح الشباب المساحة ليكتشفوا أنفسهم ويعبّروا عن أفكارهم، نساعدهم على أن يصبحوا النسخة الأقوى من أنفسهم… وأن يكونوا فعلًا شباب المستقبل.
مع الإشارة إلى أن مخيم ILEAD ينضوي ضمن برنامج ترابط الذي تنفذّه مؤسسة الصفدي بالتعاون مع AIDA الاسبانية وبدعم من الإتحاد الاوروبي.

Teenagers today… are the youth of tomorrow!

At ILEAD Camp, the experience was more than just a summer camp; it was a journey of self-discovery, confidence-building, and leadership development. Through activities and challenges, participants learned to collaborate, communicate, think critically, and take initiative. Most importantly, they discovered their potential and learned to believe in themselves.

Because when we give young people the space to discover themselves and express their ideas, we help them become the strongest version of themselves… and truly become the youth of tomorrow.
It is worth noting that ILEAD Camp is part of the TARABUT Program, implemented by the Safadi Foundation in cooperation with AIDA Spain, with the support of the European Union.
