Orphan Welfare Organization (Registration No. 1899, 1952) is a nonprofit organization established in the year 1952 offering educational, instructional, rehabilitation, social, vocational, clinical, and recreational services to the most vulnerable groups in the society, especially the orphans and children who are going through financial and social problems including those with special needs and the
deaf, and the people with physical disabilities. The Organization today includes the following departments: Saida Generations School (elementary school), vocational training centre, centre for the mentally disabled children, school for the rehabilitation and orientation of the deaf, the children's residential unit, clinics for psychomotor, speech therapy and audiogram, a clinic for prosthetics and orthopedics, and a centre for physiotherapy. Each year around 1000 beneficiaries benefit from the services provided at its different departments.
