Association Nabad for Development, with funding from the United Nations OCHA Lebanon OCHA Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) is helping vulnerable farmers restore agricultural production and strengthen their resilience. Meet Hwayda, one of the farmers benefiting from this support.

Through the installation of a greenhouse, Hwayda is increasing her food production, improving her livelihood, and enhancing her ability to cope with ongoing challenges.

Supporting communities through coordinated humanitarian action.

On 7, 16, and 17 July, Association NABAD for Development, in partnership with Oxfam in Lebanon Oxfam, distributed 4,600 Ready-to-Eat (RTE) Kits to 4,600 families across Saksakiyeh, Baysariyeh, Tefehta, Kaakaiyet Sanawbar, Ghassaniyeh, and Bebliyeh in the Saida–Zahrani area.

This intervention was implemented in coordination with the World Food Programme (WFP), Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Units, and the respective municipalities under the ACJR Lebanon 2026 project, funded by the Dutch Relief Alliance (DRA).

On Thursday, 23 July 2026, Association Nabad for Development, funded by the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) United Nations OCHA Lebanon, successfully delivered 2,317 dry food parcels to 2,317 displaced families living outside collective shelters in South Lebanon, helping ensure that families uprooted by the crisis have access to essential food assistance while preserving their dignity during challenging times.

This operation was carried out through the Logistics Cluster humanitarian convoy, in close coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA), Tyre DRR, and the World Food Programme (WFP), ensuring timely food assistance reached those most in need.

This operation was carried out via the humanitarian Log Cluster convoy, in close coordination with the World Food Programme (WFP) and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), ensuring timely assistance reached those most in need.

On the occasion of the International Day Against Child Labor, Nabad for Development, through the DRC-ECHO project, organized an awareness and engagement event with children and their caregivers at the Frontliners For Change Center in Bar Elias.

The event featured interactive activities, educational discussions, audio testimonials, and creative sessions designed to raise awareness on child rights and child protection.

Through meaningful participation and dialogue, children and caregivers explored the importance of creating safe, supportive environments where every child can learn, grow, and thrive free from exploitation.
