Following the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, for Development, in partnership with , with the support of Danida (Danish International Development Agency) has resumed the implementation of their project, in Saaideh and Haouch Barada, within Baalbek-Hermel Governorate.

At a time when communities continue to face hostilities and economic hardship, our intervention aims to support Syrian and Lebanese women and men, by strengthening employability, promoting self-reliance, and fostering social cohesion within local communities.
Through life skills development and market-driven vocational training, participants are gaining practical experience in several fields, including sustainable agriculture, food production, livestock management, plumbing, painting, and solar energy systems.

These photos capture moments from the recent hands-on training sessions, where participants are not only learning new skills, but also rebuilding confidence, resilience, and hope for a better future.

The consortium partners NABAD, Lebanese Organization for Development & Peace - LODP and Youth for Peace (Y4P) had a meeting with MP Faysal Karameh to discuss child rights protection, juvenile justice reform, and the key challenges and priorities affecting children in North Lebanon.

We would like to sincerely thank MP Faysal Karameh for his valuable insights, and willingness to collaborate and support the ongoing advocacy efforts under the Project.
The meeting highlighted the importance of coordinated engagement between parliamentarians, civil society organizations, and relevant stakeholders to strengthen child-centered protection mechanisms and advance policy reform efforts related to and children’s rights in Lebanon.

On May 14, as part of its ongoing emergency response efforts, distributed 1,098 food parcels to families in Haouch Er Rafqa - Bekaa.
With support from the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) this intervention provided critical food assistance to families affected by the conflict and worsening conditions, helping meet urgent needs and alleviate immediate hardships.

Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) in partnership with Plan International Lebanon Nabad for Development with the support of the Disaster Risk Reduction Unit (DRR) in the south, distributed 2483 ready-to-eat kits across collective shelters in and in South , reaching displaced families affected by the ongoing hostilities in Lebanon.
This intervention comes as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support communities facing the impact of war, displacement, and instability, helping families meet urgent needs with dignity and care.

Since the re‑escalation of hostilities, for Development distributed during April 2026, with the support of Lebanon Humanitarian Fund ( LHF) United Nations OCHA Lebanon a total of 2,278 Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food parcels across collective shelters in Dekwaneh and Kesrwane in Mount Lebanon, reaching thousands of displaced individuals and supporting families with urgent food assistance.

for Development distributed 835 Family Hygiene Kits across 8 collective shelters in and , reaching families facing displacement and uncertainty.
Each kit is more than supplies; it is a step toward safer living conditions and restored dignity.
This intervention is implemented in partnership with Oxfam in Lebanon and with the support of Centre de Crise et de Soutien ( CDCS) , as part of a continued commitment to respond to urgent needs and stand alongside communities affected by war.
