๐ ๐ Beirut became the meeting point for the future of Mediterranean youth.
The HorizonCraft โ Sailing Towards Mediterranean Expertise Building Conference marked a milestone in fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth employability across the Mediterranean. The event brought together an outstanding network of policymakers, institutional leaders, academics, experts, entrepreneurs, partners, and ambitious young talents, united by a common vision: creating opportunities that empower the next generation.
The conference showcased HorizonCraft's vision and objectives while strengthening strategic partnerships between academia, the private sector, public institutions, TVET providers, and employment stakeholders. It also introduced the selected young participants who are about to embark on a life-changing journey of learning, professional development, and international mobility.
A high-level roundtable featured distinguished speakers and experts who addressed key topics shaping the future of youth employment, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, vocational education and training (TVET), and innovation.
The event was honoured by the participation of Prof. Howaida Al Turk, General Director of the Lebanese parliemant, together with the Dean of the Lebanese University Mr. Selim Makdessi, prof Hussein Traboulsi, Dr. Yara Al Abdallah, Prof. Milad Sebaaly, Prof. Hassan Makhlouf, Prof. Pierre Jadoun, Expert and consultant Mr. Issam Abi Rached, union of municipalities, TVET representatives, youth entreprrneurs, youth associationns.
In the coming months, the selected young participants will begin an intensive capacity-building programme before travelling to Sardinia, Italy. This international mobility represents far more than a training opportunityโit is an investment in future leaders who will return home equipped with new skills, global perspectives, and practical expertise to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development in their communities.
