Following recent observation in Saida, here is a magical moment at Al-Mansouri Hima 🌊✨
The Blackchin Guitar Ray (Glaucostegus cemiculus), a species blending the features of sharks and rays, is now listed as Critically Endangered. Every sighting is a reminder of how precious and fragile our marine biodiversity is and the importance of protecting it from every violation.

سمكة الشفنين الغيتارية الشائعة (Glaucostegus cemiculus)، مزيج رائع بين القرش والشفنين، مُدرجة اليوم كنوع مهدد بالانقراض بشكل حرج. كل مشاهدة لها تذكير بمدى قيمة وهشاشة تنوعنا البحري و اهمية حمايتها من اي تعدي او مخالفة.

كان يوما مميز جدًا… أطلقنا مجموعة من صغار السلاحف نحو البحر، برفقة أطفال ومحبين شاركونا اللحظة بفرح كبير.
كل دفعة حياة جديدة بتذكرنا إنو الأمل أقوى من كل التحديات.
A truly special day… We released baby sea turtles back to the ocean, joined by children and nature lovers who shared this joyful moment with us.
Every little step into the sea is a reminder that hope is stronger than any challenge.

شارف موسم حماية السلاحف البحرية على نهايته، ولم يبقَ سوى ١٠ أعشاش على شاطئ حمى المنصوري.
ورغم كل التحديات التي واجهتنا هذا العام، استطعنا مع الأصدقاء إطلاق ٥٧ عشًّا من صغار السلاحف حديثة الفقس إلى البحر ، لنمنحها فرصة جديدة للحياة والأمل.
The sea turtle nesting season is almost over, with only 10 nests left on Hima Al-Mansoori Beach.
Despite all the challenges we faced this year, we proudly released 57 nests of hatchlings into the sea together with friends—giving them a new chance at life and hope.

حين تعود السلاحف الصغيرة إلى البحر، يعود معها الأمل بجيلٍ يحمي الشاطئ والبحر 🌱💙

This is not just a simple release, nor a passing show…
What we witnessed is the result of years of training and a true effort to build environmental awareness.
When the baby turtles return to the sea, they carry with them hope for a generation that protects the shore and the ocean 🌱💙

حتى الأمس، بلغ عدد الأعشاش المحمية 66 عشًا!
أطلقنا بالأمس دفعة جديدة من سلاحف كاريتا كاريتا، بحضور عدد من أصدقاء الحمى
واليوم، عند الساعة السادسة والنصف مساءً، سنُطلق سلاحف خضراء من الأنواع المهددة بالانقراض عالميًا

🌊🐢 Nesting season continues at the Hima mansouri beach.
As of yesterday, we've reached 66 protected nests!
Yesterday, we released a new batch of Caretta caretta turtles with friends of the sanctuary
And today, at 6:30 PM, we’ll release green turtles, a globally endangered

ضمن مشروع التوعية على الحياة البحرية وحمايتها الذي ينفذه فريق حمى المنصوري بالتعاون مع حملة الأزرق الكبير، وجمعية فكر وإنسان، وقوات اليونيفيل، نفذنا اليوم تدريبات بيئية ميدانية مميزة للشبان والشابات من بلدتي المنصوري والقليلة.
حضر الفعالية كل من رئيس الكتيبة الإيطالية Colonel Giacomo TRICASE وبعض عناصرها، رئيس بلدية المنصوري الأستاذ حيدر مديحلي، وممثل بلدية القليلة الأستاذ عدنان فقيه.
بعد التدريبات على كيفية حماية أعشاش السلاحف البحرية، عشنا لحظة مؤثرة بإطلاق ٤٧ سلحفاة ضخمة الرأس و٢٠ سلحفاة خضراء إلى البحر، وسط أجواء من الفرح والحماس والتفاعل الجميل مع الطبيعة

As part of the awareness project implemented by the Mansouri Hima team, in collaboration with Big Blue Campaign, Fekr w Insan Association, and UNIFIL forces, we held a special training today for young men and women from Mansouri and Qlayleh.

The event was attended by Colonel Giacomo TRICASE, head of the Italian Battalion, along with members of his unit, Mayor of Mansouri Mr. Haidar Medihli and Mr. Adnan Fakih, representative of Qlayleh Municipality.

Following the training on sea turtle nest protection, we celebrated the release of 47 Loggerhead turtles and 20 Green turtles into the sea — in a moment full of joy, excitement, and deep connection with nature

أيامٌ نرى فيها ثمار تعب شهرين من الحماية والمراقبة والحب!

خمسة اعشاش من أصل ٦٥ حتى الآن فقست وانطلقت صغار السلاحف البحرية نحو البحر بحيوية وفرح، أمام أعين الفتيات والشبان، وأهالي البلدة، ورئيس بلدية المنصوري، والناشطين والمتابعين من مختلف المناطق اللبنانية.
كل سلحفاة نجت هي أمل جديد

It’s hatching season! 💚
A time when two months of dedication, care, and protection bear joyful fruit!

Five nests out of 65 have hatched so far, and the tiny sea turtles made their happy journey into the sea — cheered on by local youth, families, the mayor of Mansouri, environmental activists, and supporters from all over Lebanon.

Every turtle that survives is a new hope for the sea.
