At FVDL (JRS Lebanon), in collaboration with Contaminando Sonrisas, a powerful story came to life on stage.

A clown, seen as a refugee, arrives searching for acceptance in a new community. Through moments of emotion, humor, and connection, the story shows something deeply human: when people are welcomed and accepted, they are able to give back what they carry within them, joy, happiness, and hope.

A simple message that speaks beyond the stage: belonging has the power to transform both individuals and communities. 🎭✨

On the memorial of the passing of Fr. Frans van der Lucht, SJ, April 2014, we honor his memory with living testimonies.

Fr. Frans has departed, but he has not left those he accompanied.
In this video, we open the memory of our hearts to the experiences of some who lived with him.

It is not merely a remembrance, but a testimony that love does not die, and that the mission continues whenever we stand beside those who have lost hope.

Following the recent escalations in Lebanon, families have been forced to flee their homes under emergency conditions.

JRS Lebanon responded immediately by opening an emergency shelter at St. Joseph Church, hosting around 200 displaced migrant individuals and providing essential support.

In parallel, distributions have scaled up across Beirut–Mount Lebanon and the Bekaa, reaching 19 shelters and supporting over 571 families (2,225 individuals), in close coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs, WFP, and shelter focal points.
