Instate equality in all elected and appointed councils in political and public life
Promote equality at all levels in the media sphere, especially on national TVs
Create a think-tank of expert dialogue for continuous assessment and development of strategies to better reach our goals
Transition:
As Co-founders of Women in Front NGO, Joelle Abou Farhat Rizkallah and Paola Majdalani have worked for the past 7 years towards empowering Lebanese women in Politics. This long and hard work has led to increase the number of female candidates from 12 in 2009 to 113 candidates in the 2018 Parliamentary Elections. Despite this historical number of female candidates, only 6 women reached the parliament! Today we have redirected our strategy in our new NGO called Fifty-Fifty:
1- To include men on board of our mission
2- To reach a Fifty-Fifty gender representation across all levels of decision-making positions especially in politics and public life.
