The Seven/Five Foundation’s mission is to provide aid to individuals and families, in Lebanon, who are most vulnerable and in need during these uncertain times.
- Why We Do it
Our foundation draws inspiration from July 5, 1976 - the anniversary of our town in Lebanon, Chekka, being invaded and attacked. On this dreadful day, families, friends and neighbors were not spared by politically and rel
igiously fueled hostilities. However, as Saint Francis once prayed: “Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light.” While we remember our loved ones who paid the ultimate price, we are fueled and inspired by our townspeople who came together to defend each other, pick each other up, and move each other forward.
- What We Want To Do
The Seven/Five Foundation was created under the principles of caring for the community and rising to the occasion of serving those around us who are in need. The citizens of Lebanon have not only been struggling through this pandemic, but also an ongoing political and financial crisis that has left them with no means of survival and no government to turn to. In reaction to these occurrences, we chose to be proactive, and create the Seven/Five Foundation to offer relief to those in need.
- Be Part of the Change
The events of 2020/21 have left the world in despair. Among those in need is Lebanon, a country who has seen anguish long before this pandemic. We hope to become a reliable source to turn to in unprecedented times and offer support to communities in need.
