As part of the dissemination of the “Roadmap for Youth Work Leadership” mobility in partnership with Osaed , the President of WPL and a board member organized a follow-up training session for a group of colleagues and youth facilitators in our local context.
The aim was to transfer the knowledge and practical methods gained during the program and widen the impact among youth workers.
The session presented key competencies such as leadership in youth work, team and project management, strategic planning, and the use of non-formal education. It included interactive activities, group discussions, practical exercises, and reflection moments that encouraged active participation and creative thinking.
Participants showed strong motivation and teamwork. They improved their ability to analyze challenges, propose concrete solutions, communicate more effectively, and start shaping ideas for future youth initiatives.
Many of them emphasized how valuable and refreshing the interactive methods were, helping them rethink their role in youth work and adopt more flexible and participatory leadership models.
This workshop was an important step in bringing an international learning experience back to our community and supporting youth practitioners in their mission to create meaningful change.
