“A Day for You… An Impact for Others” Fundraiser Event of Rotary Club of Aley West...🌿

Some days are created simply to pause, reconnect and enjoy the moment. Others become meaningful because they give us the opportunity to do something greater.

This special day was hosted by Rotary Club of Aley West, and has brought together 73 attendees from different Rotary clubs and organizations in the beautiful surroundings of Beit Aabey, for a day dedicated to mental well-being, connection and supporting Beyt Al Yateem Orphanage.

From a refreshing morning welcome accompanied by the melodies of Fairouz, to three different activities, a guided nature hike, a heritage tour in Beit Aabey and a garden yoga session, the day offered something for everyone. Then, all participants were gathered to share lunch, stories, laughter and good company.

Beyond the experience itself, the day carried a greater purpose, which is supporting Beyt Al Yateem Orphanage. Alongside the contributions gathered through the event, generous individuals also chose to extend their support through additional donations, turning a beautiful day into a meaningful contribution to a cause that matters.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants, donors and supporters whose generosity helped bring this initiative to life. Every presence, contribution and gesture of support helped turn this beautiful day into a meaningful difference, bringing a little more joy, opportunity and hope to the children at Beyt Al Yateem Orphanage.

Because sometimes, taking a day for yourself can mean creating an impact for someone else. ✨

In celebration of Rotary’s Basic Education and Literacy Month, Rotary Club of Beirut Center brought together 15 Rotary Clubs, including Rotary Club of Aley West, for an insightful online session focused on early childhood language development, on Thursday, 10th September, 2026.

Dr. Ghada Khattab, PhD, Professor of Phonetics and Phonology at Newcastle University, UK, highlighted the role of accessible early education in helping children build strong foundations for communication and learning.

Moderated by our beloved District Secretary Samar Saab, the session opened the floor for an engaging exchange of ideas among Rotarians.

A valuable reminder that giving children the right support from the earliest years can help them learn, grow, and reach their potential. 🌟📚
