Terre des hommes - Lebanon Terre des hommes (Tdh) is the leading Swiss organization for children’s aid.

Through our health, protection and emergency relief programmes, we provide assistance to over three million children and their families in more than 45 countries each year.

This is the story of a 12-year-old Syrian girl in Lebanon, separated from her parents and pushed into work far too soon.
A childhood meant for learning, playing, and dreaming was replaced by responsibilities no child should carry.
Funded by the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) United Nations OCHA Lebanon, Terre des hommes (Tdh), in collaboration with Nabad Nabad for Development as a sub-implementing partner, her story began to change.
Through psychosocial support sessions, she slowly started to heal from what she had endured. Cash assistance eased the burden on her caregivers, and through basic literacy and numeracy programs, she found her way back to learning.
Today, she is taking her first steps toward a brighter future, reclaiming her right to , , and a childhood filled with .

هذه قصة فتاة سورية تبلغ من العمر 12 عامًا في لبنان، فُصلت عن والديها ودُفعت إلى العمل في سن مبكرة جدًا.
طفولة كان من المفترض أن تكون مليئة بالتعلّم واللعب والأحلام، استُبدلت بمسؤوليات لا ينبغي لأي طفل أن يتحمّلها.
بتمويل من الصندوق الإنساني للبنان (LHF) ، وبالتعاون بين منظمة أرض الإنسان (Tdh) وجمعية نبض كشريك منفذ فرعي، بدأت قصتها تأخذ منحى مختلفًا.
من خلال جلسات الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي، بدأت تتعافى تدريجيًا من التجارب التي مرت بها. كما ساهمت المساعدات النقدية في تخفيف العبء عن مقدّمي الرعاية، ومن خلال برامج محو الأمية، استعادت طريقها نحو التعلّم ونحو ذاتها.
اليوم، تخطو خطواتها الأولى نحو مستقبل أكثر إشراقًا، مستعيدة حقها في التعليم والحماية وطفولة مليئة بـالأمل.

أحمد عمره 10 سنوات فقط، لكنه يحمل خوفًا لا يجب أن يعرفه أي طفل.
الحروب لا يبدأها الأطفال، لكنهم دائمًا أول من يدفع ثمنها. النزوح يجبر العائلات على الفرار، ويترك الأطفال مثل أحمد بلا أمان أو استقرار أو حتى مكان يسمونه بيتًا.
وراء إحصائيات النزوح، هناك أطفال يعيشون في خوف وقلق وعدم يقين بشأن الغد.
لا يجب أن يسأل أي طفل: “كيف بدنا نكمل إذا ما في بيت نرجع له؟”

في بداية حملة الـ 16 يوم لمناهضة العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي، صمتنا لنُدين الصمت الذي طالما عتَم على قضايا العنف في مجتمعاتنا. اليوم، نكسر هذا الصمت.
نفسح المجال لأصوات ورسائل الناجيات، ليتحدثن عن تجاربهن ومشاعرهن، رغبة منهن في رفع وعي مجتمعاتهن بأن العنف بكل أشكاله غير مقبول، وأن الصمت لم يعد خيارًا.
إذا كان صمتنا بالأمس إدانة، فصوتنا اليوم هو أمل ونور للنجاة. شكرًا لكل الناجيات على مشاركة قصصهن لتعزيز الوعي، والتضامن، والدعم في مجتمعاتنا.

Let’s unite to end violence against all women and girls.
In Bourj El Chemali, Terre des hommes -Lausanne team Distributed flowers as symbols of respect, safety, and solidarity during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.







دعونا نتحد لإنهاء العنف ضد جميع النساء والفتيات.
في برج الشمالي، قام فريق منظمة أرض البشر بتوزيع الورود كرمز للاحترام والأمان والتضامن خلال حملة الـ ١٦ يومًا لمناهضة العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي.

16 Days... is a time to unite and amplify voices. A global call to intensify efforts to combat Gender-Based Violence (GBV). We renew our commitment that safety is a continuous right.
Let us remember the cry of every woman and girl silenced by fear. Let us remember that peace cannot be fully achieved as long as silence prevails.
These are our colleagues from across the Middle East, standing silent, to condemn a silence that has long been the support that gives violence its power and legitimacy.
Because in matters of Gender-Based Violence, silence is no longer an option.

Aya, an 11-year-old girl in Lebanon, lost both of her parents in the 2024 escalations. This devastating loss had a profound impact on her well-being and daily life.
Funded by the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF) United Nations OCHA Lebanon, Terre des hommes (Tdh) in collaboration with جمعية المرأة الخيرية Women's Humanitarian Organization - PWHO as a sub-implementing partner, Aya was able to begin her journey toward healing and resilience. Through a community-based intervention, Aya received case management and support, helping her restore a sense of , stability, and .

آية، فتاة تبلغ من العمر 11 عامًا تعيش في لبنان، فقدت والديها خلال تصاعد النزاع عام 2024. هذا الفقدان المأساوي ترك أثرًا عميقًا على حالتها النفسية وحياتها اليومية.
