نفّذت جمعية محاربون من أجل السلام، بالتعاون مع فريق جمعية لبن المسرحي، مسرح إعادة التمثيل في المدرسة الإنجيلية في الحمرا، موجّهة للنازحين داخل المدرسة.
من خلال هذا العرض التفاعلي، شارك الحضور قصصًا شخصية تعبّر عن تجاربهم وتحدياتهم اليومية، حيث تمّ تجسيد هذه القصص مباشرة على المسرح من قبل ممثلين محترفين. وقد ساهم ذلك في تحويل التجارب الفردية إلى مساحة جماعية للتأمل والتفاعل، وخلق لحظات إنسانية عزّزت التعاطف والفهم المتبادل والحوار بين المشاركين.
أتاح النشاط مساحة آمنة للتعبير والشعور بأن صوتهم مسموع، كما ساعد على تفريغ بعض المشاعر.
وعقب العرض، قاد نسيم أسعد أحد أعضاء محاربون من أجل السلام نقاشًا مفتوحًا حول دور المقاتلين السابقين في الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية، وتحولهم إلى صانعي سلام ملتزمين بثقافة المصالحة ونبذ العنف.
يُعتبر مسرح إعادة التمثيل شكلاً مسرحيًا تفاعليًا يستخدم السرد والأداء كأداة لبناء المجتمع، وزيادة الوعي، وتعزيز المصالحة.

Fighters for Peace, in collaboration with the Laban لَبَنْ theater Group, implemented a Playback Theatre session at the Evangelical School in Hamra, for displaced people within the school.
Through this interactive performance, participants shared personal stories reflecting their experiences and the challenges of their daily lives. These stories were then re-enacted live on stage by professional actors, transforming individual experiences into a shared space for reflection and engagement. The session created powerful human moments that fostered empathy, mutual understanding, and dialogue among participants.
The activity provided a safe space for expression, allowing participants to feel heard and acknowledged, while also offering an opportunity to release and process emotions linked to their experiences.
Following the performance, Nassim Assaad, a member of Fighters for Peace, facilitated an open discussion on the role of former combatants in the Lebanese Civil War and their transformation into peacebuilders committed to reconciliation and non-violence.
Playback Theatre is an interactive theatrical form that uses storytelling and performance as tools for community building, raising awareness, and supporting processes of reconciliation.

من الحرب إلى السلام: شهادات حية في الجامعة الأميركية 🇱🇧

نفّذت جمعية محاربون من أجل السلام، بالتعاون مع فريق جمعية لبن المسرحي، نشاط ألعاب إكس (X-Games) في ثانوية مار عبدا - دير القمر مع طلاب الصف الثالث الثانوي.

يُعد هذا النشاط تجربة تفاعلية تشاركية تهدف إلى استكشاف آليات التطرّف والتشدّد، حيث خاض المشاركون سلسلة من المراحل التي تعكس أساليب الجماعات المتطرفة، قبل الانتقال إلى جلسة تفريغ ونقاش معمّق ساعدت على تحليل التجربة، وتعزيز التفكير النقدي، وتنمية القدرة على التعرّف على هذه الأنماط ومواجهتها.

وفي ختام النشاط، شارك كل من بدري أبو دياب وبيار ريحان، وهما من أعضاء محاربون من أجل السلام ومقاتلين سابقين في الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية، شهادتهما الشخصية، متحدثين عن تجربتهما والتحوّلات التي مرّا بها، والدروس التي استخلصاها، مؤكدين أن العنف لا يؤدي إلى أي نتيجة إيجابية، لا على المستوى الشخصي ولا على مستوى الوطن، وأن البديل هو الحوار وبناء السلام.

ألعاب إكس (X-Games) أداة تفاعلية حائزة على جوائز، طوّرتها منظمة Inside Out (ألمانيا) الشريكة لـمحاربون من أجل السلام، وتم تنفيذها في بيئات تعليمية في لبنان وألمانيا لتعزيز الوعي، والتفكير النقدي، والقدرة على مواجهة التطرّف.

Fighters for Peace, in collaboration with the Lebanon Theater team, conducted an X-Games session at Cma Deir El Kamar High School with Grade 12 students.
This interactive activity engaged students in a participatory experience designed to explore the mechanisms of extremism and radicalization. Through a series of immersive stations, participants were gradually exposed to the ways extremist systems operate—before moving into a guided debriefing that unpacked these experiences, encouraged critical reflection, and strengthened their ability to recognize and resist such narratives.
At the conclusion of the session, Fighters for Peace members and former Lebanese Civil War combatants, Badri Abou Diab and Pierre Rehan, shared their personal testimonies. They reflected on their past, the transformations they have undergone, and the lessons they carry today—emphasizing that violence leads nowhere, neither for individuals nor for the country, and highlighting the importance of choosing dialogue and peace.

X-Games is an award-winning interactive tool developed by Fighters for Peace’s partner, InsideOut (Germany), and has been implemented in educational settings across Lebanon and Germany to promote awareness, critical thinking, and resilience against extremism.

شاركت جمعية محاربون من أجل السلام في جلسة "المكتبة البشرية" في الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت (AUB)، بالتعاون مع الدكتور مكرم رباح.
ومثّل المنظمة كل من زياد صعب، وأسعد شفتري، وعليا مقداد، وشيراز عواد، حيث شاركوا شهاداتهم الشخصية من الحرب الأهلية اللبنانية، متحدثين عن تجاربهم السابقة، والتحوّلات التي مرّوا بها، والدروس التي يحملونها اليوم.

Represented by Ziad Saab , Assaad Chaftari, Alia Mokdad, and Shiraz Awad, former combatants shared their personal testimonies from the Lebanese Civil War, reflecting on their past, the transformations they have undergone, and the lessons they carry today.
Participants engaged directly with the speakers, asking questions and exchanging perspectives. The discussion highlighted a clear message: violence does not lead to meaningful outcomes, and dialogue between political parties remains essential for a sustainable future.
The audience included AUB students, alongside journalists and individuals interested in the topic, creating a space for honest conversation and critical reflection.

نظّمت جمعية محاربون من أجل السلام، بالتعاون مع فريق "لبن" المسرحي، نشاطاً تفاعلياً للأطفال الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 5 و14 عاماً. تضمّن النشاط ألعاباً حركية وتمارين قائمة على التعبير الجسدي والصوتي، ارتكزت على التفاعل الجماعي والخيال، من دون استخدام أي أدوات، حيث شاركوا في أنشطة حفّزتهم على الحركة، والعمل الجماعي، والتعبير عن أنفسهم بحرّية.

نؤمن في جمعية محاربون من أجل السلام أن دعم الأطفال لا يقتصر على الاستجابة للظروف الصعبة، بل يشمل أيضاً الحفاظ على مساحتهم الآمنة للعب، وللتعبير، وللحلم، مهما اشتدّت التحديات.

هذا النشاط يأتي ضمن مشروع ممول من Zivik Funding Programme

Fighters for Peace, in collaboration with the Laban لَبَنْ Team, organized an interactive session for children aged 5 to 14. The activities included movement-based games and body and voice expression exercises, built on group interaction and imagination, without the use of any tools, and engaged in activities that encouraged movement, teamwork, and free self-expression.

At Fighters for Peace, we believe that supporting children is not only about responding to difficult circumstances, but also about safeguarding their space to play, to express, and to dream, regardless of the challenges.

This activity is part of a project funded by the Zivik Funding Programme
