نظمت المؤسسة اللبنانية للسلم الأهلي الدائم (LFPCP) والمركز النرويجي لحقوق الإنسان - جامعة أوسلو، وبمشاركة قضاة من مختلف محاكم الاحوال الشخصية الاسلامية والمسيحية والمحاكم المدنية ومحامين، ورشة عمل ونقاش تحت عنوان: "مناقشة ودراسة ومذاكرة في قضايا وأحكام صادرة عن محاكم الأحوال الشخصية الأسلامية المسيحية والمدنية".

خصصت الورشة لمناقشة ودراسة حالات وقضايا قانونية من وجهات نظر وقوانين مختلف المحاكم.

الورشة عقدت بتاريخ 26 آب 2026، وذلك ضمن إطار مشروع: تعزيز مفاهيم حقوق الإنسان في المحاكم المذهبية الاسلامية المسيحية اللبنانية.

The Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace (LFPCP) and the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) at the University of Oslo had organized a round table discussion meeting “Peer Training and deliberations” on August 26, 2026. The meeting was dedicated to discuss real life cases was presented in front of the different Religious Courts (Catholic, Maronite, Orthodox, Sunni, Jaafari, Druze Courts) and Civil Courts, in participation with Religious Judges from different Religious courts, Civil Judges, and Lawyers.

A thorough discussion took place with the different participants providing their feedback on the various cases and legal issues.

This meeting is within the framework of LFPCP Project: Fostering Human Rights in the Lebanese and other MENA Religious Courts.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace (LFPCP) has organized a Round table dialogue meeting for a group of young women and men from across Lebanon with the Minister of Culture H.E. Dr. Ghassan Salame on 12 August 2026.

Organised within the framework of the project “Strengthening Governance in Lebanon: Towards Inclusive and Open Governance”, funded by the Embassy of Italy in Lebanon, the workshop forms part of the Youth Policy Shapers Programme – Lebanon, an initiative aimed at equipping young people with the skills, knowledge and tools needed to engage effectively in public life and contribute to policy discussions.

Participants presented their ideas, initiatives and projects to the Minister where a constructive dialogue went between the youth and the Minister on the policies, laws, and ideas on how to drive positive change in their communities.

The Programme seeks to strengthen youth participation in public decision-making and contribute to more inclusive, responsive and participatory governance in Lebanon.

نظمت المؤسسة اللبنانية للسلم الأهلي الدائم وبالتعاون مع الهيئات الرقابية في لبنان: ديوان المحاسبة، مجلس الخدمة المدنية، هيئة التفتيش المركزي، والهيئة العليا للتأديب، اجتماع تشاوري ثاني يوم الخميس بتاريخ 30 تموز 2026، ضمن إطار مشروع " Building Lebanon’s Future – بناء مستقبل لبنان: مقاربة متعددة الاتجاهات لبناء الدولة والتعافي" بمشاركة رئيس ديوان المحاسبة القاضي محمد بدران، رئيسة مجلس الخدمة المدنية السيدة نسرين مشموشي، رئيس التفتيش المركزي القاضي جورج عطيّة، رئيسة الهيئة العليا للتأديب القاضي ريتا غنطوس، وعدد من القضاة، والمحامين، وخبراء حقوقيين، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني.

عرضت القاضية رنا عاكوم دراسة بحثية حول أبرز التحديات والآليات والسبل لتطوير العمل في التفتيش المركزي والهيئة العليا للتأديب، ودار نقاش حولها.

The Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace (LFPCP) and in coordination with the Oversight Bodies in Lebanon: Audit Court, Civil Service Board, Central Inspection Authority, and Higher Disciplinary Authority, have organized the 2nd Round table discussion meeting on Thursday 30 of July 2026 on the Reforms and Development of the Oversight Institutions in Lebanon, with the participation of the Presidents of the Oversight Institutions, Judges, Lawyers, Experts, Academia, and Civil Society Organizations.

The Project Expert Judge Rana Akoum had presented the situational analysis and steps needed as well as the recommendations on the: Mechanisms and Processes needed to develop the work of the Oversight Bodies in Lebanon - Challenges and Suggested Solutions, and a discussion followed on it.

This Round table meeting is within the framework of the project titled; "Building Lebanon’s Future: A Multi-Sector Approach to State-Building and Recovery".

The Lebanese Foundation for Permanent Civil Peace (LFPCP) and in coordination with the Oversight Bodies in Lebanon: Audit Court, Civil Service Board, Central Inspection Authority, and Higher Disciplinary Authority, have organized the 1st Round table discussion meeting on Tuesday 21 of July 2026 on the Reforms and Development of the Oversight Institutions in Lebanon, with the participation of the Presidents of the Oversight Institutions, number of MPs, Judges, experts, Academia, and civil society organizations.
