SALAMA at Women Deliver 2026 in Melbourne-Australia;
Our Executive Director, Lina Sabra, shared SALAMA’s experience responding to the 2023 and 2026 crises in Lebanon—standing with women and girls through conflict and displacement, and ensuring access to care, support, and dignity.
She also presented our 360° virtual reality film, capturing the human impact of war, displacement, and resilience.
The Executive Director highlighted SALAMA’s broader work—advancing SRHR, empowering communities, and responding to crises with compassion and innovation.

شاركت المديرة التنفيذية لينا صبرا تجربة SALAMA في الاستجابة لأزمتي 2023 و2026 في لبنان، حيث وقفنا إلى جانب النساء والفتيات في ظل النزاع والنزوح، لضمان وصولهن إلى الرعاية والدعم والكرامة.
كما عرضت فيلمنا بتقنية 360 درجة، الذي ينقل الأثر الإنساني للحرب والنزوح وقصص الصمود.
وسلطت المديرة التنفيذية الضوء على عمل SALAMA الأوسع—في تعزيز الصحة والحقوق الجنسية والإنجابية، وتمكين المجتمعات، والاستجابة للأزمات بروح من الابتكار والإنسانية.

Under the UNFPA project, SALAMA continues its emergency response in the Bekaa, supporting internally displaced families and distributing mama-baby kits to pregnant women in need. As part of its emergency response, SALAMA with support from UNFPA is conducting awareness sessions and distributing dignity kits to displaced women and girls, ensuring access to essential items to respond to the growing needs of displaced communities in the Bekaa. Together, these efforts aim to support women and families facing crisis with care, protection, and essential services.

في إطار استجابتها الطارئة، تُجري منظمة سلامة، بدعم من صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان، جلسات توعية وتوزع حقائب كرامة على النساء والفتيات النازحات، لضمان حصولهن على المواد الأساسية اللازمة لتلبية الاحتياجات المتزايدة للمجتمعات النازحة في البقاع. وتهدف هذه الجهود مجتمعة إلى دعم النساء والأسر التي تواجه الأزمات من خلال توفير الرعاية والحماية والخدمات الأساسية.

With the support of Australian Aid, and during this emergency, SALAMA is scaling up its response in the Bekaa to support internally displaced communities. Through the SPRINT project, we are delivering dignity kits, awareness sessions, and psychosocial support (PSS) to women and girls in shelters and host communities, helping protect their health, dignity, and well-being during these challenging times.

بدعم من السفارة الأسترالية ، وخلال هذه الظروف الطارئة، تُوسّع منظمة سلامة نطاق استجابتها في البقاع لدعم المجتمعات النازحة داخلياً. ومن خلال مشروع “SPRINT”، نوفر حقائب مستلزمات الكرامة، ونعقد جلسات توعية، ونقدم الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي للنساء والفتيات في الملاجئ والمجتمعات المضيفة، مما يُسهم في حماية صحتهن وكرامتهن ورفاهيتهن خلال هذه الأوقات العصيبة.
