THANK YOU to all my family and friends who checked up on us here in Beirut, Lebanon after this terrifying weekend (and the week preceding it).
I am ok and my husband is ok and my Lebanese family are ok...and it took me the weekend to release all that energies so I can be back here on social media to raise awareness and ASK for contribution for Lebanon.
I won't go into detail here, and I'm sure you've all seen in the news about it - just use your awareness which media you are watching and listening to.
I am asking you to generously donate to the many causes we are raising for Lebanon - to help our displaced brothers and sisters, close to 1 million in number- who are dispersed in schools, shelters, homes from Beirut to Tripoli - to being on the main Corniche by the sea.
Everyday I see/hear ambulances running, truckloads of mattresses and food supplies and even people.
Almost daily I also hear the bombs from the suburbs, sonic booms, and seeing fighter jets in the sky have become a daily occurence.
This may seem to becoming a new normal for me, and what would it take to outcreate this reality?
There is so much fear, trauma and uncertainty.
Anger, hatred, rage.
YET..
There is also hope for healing and for change. This latter is what I'm here for. (and no, as a Canadian I do have the priviledge to leave and yet, I am choosing to stay.)
Keep us in your prayers, your awareness and your hearts.
If it is light for you, and you'd like to help Lebanon, here's the link below:

Thank you with much love,

If you're unsure as to how you can help Lebanon, trusted NGOs are the way to go. They can accept donations directly, so middlemen aren’t necessary.
