لمحة تاريخية عن فـوج بيـروت الأولى

تأسس فوج فخر الدين المعني الكبير – بيروت الأولى – في 22 شباط من العام 1943 في ذكرى مولد مؤسس الحركة الكشفية اللورد بادن باول، وانبثق عن الفرقة الأولى التابعة للقسم الفرنسي في كشافة الجامعة الأميركية، وبهذا يكون أول فوج في جمعية الكشاف اللبناني.

إكتملت الحلقات الثلاث في الفوج بعد أن أنشئ فيه أول قطيع أشبال في الجمعية عام /1950/ بقيادة أكيلا دوردللي، وقد استمر ال

فوج في نشاطه الكشفي مساهماً بفعالية في جميع نشاطات الجمعية لغاية سنة /1975/ حيث اضطر إلى إيقاف نشاطه بسبب أحداث الحرب اللبنانية، وفي عام /1977/ أعيد العمل بقطيع الجراميز والزهرات وفرقة الكشافة وفرقة المرشدات، وعشيرة الجوالة عام /1982/، وعشيرة الرائدات عام /1992/، ومنذ ذلك التاريخ وفوج فخر الدين المعني الكبير يزاول نشاطه في حرم مدرسة الإنترناشونال كولدج، المدرسة التي تأسس فيها في منطقة رأس بيروت.

وفي العام /1982/ بدئ العمل على إستحداث مقر ثابت للفوج في المدرسة وعمل القادة والأفراد على تشييده، وهو يتضمن مقرات لكل الوحدات، وقد إنتهى العمل الأساسي فيه عام /1984/.

ومع ازدياد أعداد الفوج وإنشاء وحدات جديدة، تم توسيع المقرات وزيادة عدد الغرف في العام /1992/، وإفتتح البناء الجديد الذي يضم مقراً مستقلاً لكل وحدة إضافة إلى غرفة للقيادة، وقاعة إجتماعات، وغرفة للمعدات في 22/2/1992، في ذكرى تأسيس الفوج.

From Captain Hook and his pirates to Tinkerbell and her fairies in Pixie Hollow, our Reds had the most amazing time this camp! 🧚🏴‍☠️

From lending a helping hand through community service in Bmahray village, to laughing through endless games and challenges, every day brought a new adventure.🔥

They discovered new skills, strengthened their leadership, put their teamwork to the test, and learned essential survival skills along the way. 🏕️🗡️

Through every challenge, adventure, and magical moment, our Reds grew stronger, braver, and closer together❤️

During the summer camp, the Girl Scouts explored the vibrant lands of India, following an ancient legend in search of the Lost Pearl the one that would transform them into mermaids. 🐚🇮🇳🧜🏻‍♀️

Meanwhile, the Boy Scouts, Peter pan’s lost boys crew entered a whole new world, exploring Minecraft and taking on missions. 💚

Away from the comfort of home, they learned to take care of themselves, make decisions, support one another and keep going even when things get hard. 🏕️⚜️

Each member left camp more independent, confident and capable than when they arrived, and that’s the greatest treasure they collected🪎

On saturday july 11th, Beirut 1 rose to the challenge and rewrote a piece of history! 🏰

We took on the challenge of scaling the 15-meter limestone rock to reach Emir Fakhreddine II’s historic fort. Surrounded by centuries of heritage, we explored the fort’s ancient walls and held our meeting at the top leaving our own mark on a landmark that has stood strong through time, just like our group. ☀️⚜️
