الخيط الأخير اللي ماسكنا: ليه الترابط الاجتماعي هو أملنا الوحيد؟

start connecting with others.
This isn’t a new idea — but today, we need it more than ever.
Every civilization collapses...
when people stop believing in each other and supporting one another.
Social cohesion isn’t a new concept.
Since the time of the Greeks and Romans, societies only survived
when there was trust, justice, and cooperation.
The sociologist Émile Durkheim spoke about Social Solidarity over a century ago.
He said: “What connects people is more important than what divides them.”
And today?
The story’s the same — but the challenges are even bigger:
– Collapsing economies and hyperinflation
– Rising hatred, racism, and sectarianism
– Youth unemployment and mass emigratio
And those who remain?
They need something to connect them, not something that breaks them apart.
Social cohesion is the last thread still holding our society together.
إذا بدّك بلد بيشبهك… بلّش اشبك حالك بغيرك.
مش شي جديد… بس صرنا بأمسّ الحاجة إلو!
كل حضارة بتنمحي… لما الناس تبطل تآمن وتدعم بعض.
الترابط الاجتماعي مش فكرة جديدة…
من أيام الإغريق والرومان، المجتمعات ما كانت تصمد إلا لما كان في ثقة، وعدالة، وتعاون.
عالم الاجتماع دوركايم حكي عن التضامن الإجتماعي Social Solodarity قالها من أكتر من قرن:
"اللي بيربط الناس ببعض… أهم من اللي بيفرّقن"
واليوم نفس القصة… بس التحديات أكبر.
- إقتصادات منهارة، تضخم مالي...
- كراهية، عرقية، طائفية..
- بطالة، شباب عم يفلّوا..
واللي باقيين؟ بدّن شي يربطهم، مش شي يكسّرهم!
الترابط الاجتماعي… هو الحبل الأخير يللي ماسك مجتمعنا من الانهيار.

We hosted a successful child-labour awareness panel with the participation of representatives from several key stakeholders, an important step in a continuous pathway toward eliminating child labour in Lebanon.

This action builds on our previous efforts with the International Labour Organization and aligns with national momentum led by the Lebanese Ministry of Labour. It also connects to wider global commitments highlighted at the 6th Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour, held in Marrakech, Morocco (11–13 February 2026).

Because childhood is not labour—it is a right to play, to learn, and to live in safety. We will keep moving forward through awareness, coordination, and practical action until child labour ends.

Social Tension التوتر أو التشنج الإجتماعي
Just because a place is quiet doesn’t mean it’s fine.
Social tension is often invisible… until it explodes.
A glance. A rumor. A comment. A grudge.
We carry it, but never confront it.

Real peace isn’t silence.
It’s understanding. It’s trust. It’s dialogue.

Let’s not wait for crisis to wake us up.
Let’s start now, building social cohesion in every neighborhood, school, and group.

🎯 The next war starts with silence.
The next peace starts with connection.



ليس كل مكانٍ هادئ، يشير أن الأمور بخير.
فالتوتر الاجتماعي غالبًا ما يكون خفيًّا… إلى أن ينفجر.
نظرة… إشاعة… تعليق… ضغينة.
نحملها في داخلنا، لكننا نادراً ما نواجهها.

السلام الحقيقي ليس صمتًا،
بل فهمًا، وثقةً، وحوارًا.

لا ننتظر الأزمة كي توقظنا،
فلنبدأ الآن — ببناء التماسك الاجتماعي في كل حي، مدرسة، ومجموعة.

🎯 الحرب القادمة تبدأ بالصمت،
أما السلام القادم فيبدأ بالاتصال.

✳️ لقاء عمل في بلدية مدينة النبطية لتعزيز التعاون مع الجمعيات المدنية وإطلاق ورش تدريبية

ضمن إطار تعزيز الشراكة المجتمعية وتفعيل العمل التشاركي في النبطية، شارك د. رامي علّوه Rami Allaw في لقاء عمل عُقد في مقر بلدية النبطية، بحضور رئيس البلدية الحاج عباس فخرالدين، وعدد من أعضاء المجلس البلدي، وممثلين عن الجمعيات المدنية المحلية Abaad MIDAL Organization نادي الشقيف-النبطية.

اللقاء ناقش سبل التعاون لإطلاق ورش تدريبية توعوية وتثقيفية تهدف إلى:
🔹 تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي
🔹 تطوير المهارات المهنية والثقافية.
🔹 تمكين الشباب والنساء في المدينة.

كما جرى التوافق على أن تقوم بلدية النبطية برعاية هذه الورش، بينما تقدم الجمعيات المدنية المعنية الدعم والخبرات اللازمة بالتعاون مع مؤسسات دولية لإنجاحها.

🎯 في الختام، تم التأكيد على أهمية توحيد الجهود لمواجهة التحديات الراهنة وإعادة بناء النسيج المجتمعي في المدينة بعد الحرب المدمرة.
