Day 54
With the ceasefire extended, some families have decided to head back home, hoping the war is finally over. Unfortunately, many others couldn’t make that same choice, as they no longer have a place to go. Because of this, our relief mission continues until the very end!
Yesterday, we cooked and served warm meals of rice with fresh green fava beans and minced meat, alongside a cabbage salad, to 4 registered shelters and any walk-in families who needed one.
Our daily distribution and recycling operations ran as smoothly as usual.
