In hard times, we step up, together. 🤍
Since March 2, our relief mission has been made possible through the power of partnership. Every supporter, regardless of the size of their contribution, has played a vital role in standing with Lebanon and supporting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) through this time of crisis.

Thanks to your generosity—through monetary and in-kind donations of grains, canned food, hygiene kits, and hot meals—your support was turned into immediate, life-saving action. Because of this collective effort, we were able to reach 34,058 individuals and support 4 registered shelters.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our local and international partners, the private and corporate sectors, foundations, individuals, our dedicated volunteers, and, last but never least, the community itself.

As we transition into Phase 2, one thing remains certain: this is not Ahla Fawda’s story alone. It is a shared story of trust, resilience, and collective action.
To everyone who stood beside us, and continues to do so, thank you. Every meal served, every family supported, and every act of hope belongs to all of us.
Together, we don't just make a difference, we build stronger, more resilient communities. 🤍🙏

اليوم، تأخذنا سلسلة أفلام البيوت العربية من أجل الإنسانية إلى بيروت، لبنان، حيث التقينا، خلال رحلة البيت الواحد في أواخر شهر أيار/مايو، بينما كانت الحرب لا تزال تلقي بظلالها على البلاد، بأحد أكثر النماذج إلهامًا للتجدد الذي تقوده المجتمعات المحلية.

تأسست أحلى فوضى على يد إيمان عساف، وتواصل مسيرتها اليوم مع فريق استثنائي من المتطوعين والمتطوعات من مختلف الأعمار. بدأت حين قرر الجيران أن يعتنوا ببعضهم بعضًا، ثم تطورت لتصبح منظومة حضرية نابضة بالابتكار، تحوّل النفايات إلى قيمة، والمهملات إلى سبل عيش، والأزمات إلى أمل.

تذكّرنا أحلى فوضى بأن التجدد يبدأ كلما اختار الناس الرحمة بدلًا من اليأس، والإبداع بدلًا من الاستسلام، والمجتمع بدلًا من العزلة.

تعلّموا من أحلى فوضى كيف:

• نحوّل الأزمات إلى فرص.
• نستعيد الكرامة عبر التعاطف.
• نجدد مجتمعاتنا بالإبداع والتضامن.

Today, our Arab Homes for Humanity Film Series takes us back to Beirut, Lebanon, where, during our One Home Journey at the end of May—while war still cast its shadow over the country—we encountered one of the most inspiring examples of community-led regeneration we have ever experienced.
Founded by Imane Assaf and sustained by a remarkable team of volunteers of all ages, Ahla Fawda (Beautiful Chaos)began as neighbours caring for one another. Today, it has grown into a vibrant urban innovation ecosystem, transforming waste into value, rubbish into livelihoods, and crisis into hope.
Ahla Fawda reminds us that regeneration begins wherever people choose compassion over despair, creativity over resignation, and community over isolation.
