Bringing life to empty walls, and bringing hope to displaced children!
A spotlight on Mexican artist Paola Delfín, an amazing friend and talented artist who decided to paint these kids and our colleague Marie Alice M.alice✨ as a symbol of resilience, unity, and hope.
Paola met most of the children at the EcoHub by Ahla Fawda during our relief mission, listened to their stories, and was deeply inspired. Her mural, titled Nabd (نبض - Heartbeat), explores themes of regeneration, healing, and cultural exchange—connecting people across generations and regions.
From portraying displaced children to honoring women as custodians of culture, and weaving in powerful symbols like the astrolabe, hoopoe bird, and cedar roots, Nabd serves as a moving reminder that art carries the pulse of a nation and brings us together in times of difficulty.
