• Solitary overnight
and many other wilderness techniques based on real practices.

🇱🇧 A Strategic Step Forward for Lebanon’s Natural Heritage.

We are honored to announce the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Wolves of Lebanon and the Ministry of Agriculture. This collaboration marks a pivotal milestone in our shared commitment to environmental protection, forest conservation, and supporting our dedicated forest and mountain rangers.

During the ceremony, H.E. Minister of Agriculture Dr. Nizar Hani highlighted the essential role of forest and mountain rangers in safeguarding Lebanon's ecosystems and emphasized the importance of aligning our national environmental efforts with international conservation standards.

Together, this partnership will strengthen institutional support for nature conservation, enhance ranger training, and ensure that Lebanon’s natural landscapes are preserved for generations to come.

🇱🇧 محطة جديدة في مسار حماية طبيعة لبنان وتنوعه البيولوجي

تتويجاً لجهود مستمرة، وقّعت جمعية "ولفز أوف ليبانون" (Wolves of Lebanon) مذكرة تفاهم رسمية مع وزارة الزراعة، في خطوة نعتز بها لترسيخ التزامنا المشترك بحماية البيئة بكل مكوناتها، من غاباتٍ وحيواناتٍ برية، وتوطيد العلاقة الوطنية بين الإنسان وطبيعته.

وقد أكد معالي وزير الزراعة الدكتور نزار هاني خلال التوقيع على أهمية هذا المشروع المسموع والرائد، مشدداً على الدور المحوري للجوالين وحراس الغابات في صون الأنظمة البيئية وتعزيز الترابط بين المجتمعات الريفية ومحيطها الطبيعي.

تهدف هذه الشراكة إلى الارتقاء بدور الجوالة وحراس الغابات وتحويله إلى مسارٍ مهني مستدام في لبنان، عبر برامج تدريبية وتطويرية تضمن حماية مساحاتنا البيئية والأحياء البرية للأجيال القادمة.

🐍 World Snake Day might have been two days ago, but conservation doesn’t follow a calendar.

When this snake got trapped in a dangerous glue trap, our field ranger Fadi Ghawi answered the call. Assigned by Lebanese Wildlife, Fadi carefully cleaned the toxic adhesive off the snake, ensured it was unharmed, and safely released it back into its natural habitat where it belongs.

Glue traps are cruel, unselective, and devastating to local biodiversity. Protecting our ecosystem means protecting all its inhabitants, even the misunderstood ones.

A huge thank you to Fadi and the Lebanese Wildlife team for their swift action.

Behind every patrol, every training exercise, and every night protecting Lebanon’s wilderness is a team that never stops showing up.

We’re building the Rangers’ base, a place they can call home during overnight guarding duties, field operations, and training.

This workshop is designed to provide practical knowledge on soil health and biodiversity management through composting 🌿

• ​Requirement: This is a 100% Zero-Waste event.
