For Leila, these words capture the reality of displacement she and some 360,000 other displaced people in Lebanon continue to face, still unable to return home.

As instability persists and airstrikes resume, more families are once again being forced to flee in search of safety.

Lebanon’s displacement and humanitarian crisis is far from over.

"شنطتنا صارت بيتنا".

هكذا لخّصت ليلى معاناة النزوح التي تعيشها اليوم، هي ونحو 360,000 نازح لبناني آخر لا يزالون بعيدين عن ديارهم، فيما عاد أكثر من 850,000 شخص إلى مناطقهم، ليجدوا منازلهم مدمّرة والخدمات الأساسية شبه منعدمة.

ومع استمرار حالة عدم الاستقرار وتجدد الغارات الجوية، تضطر المزيد من الأسر للفرار بحثاً عن الأمان.

تحذر المفوضية من أن أزمة النزوح والأزمة الإنسانية في لبنان لم تنته بعد.

Many Syrian refugees in Lebanon had already spent years in exile.

For those who cannot return to their country just yet, the conflict brought new loss and renewed displacement.

Today, many refugees continue to need support to cope with the challenges.


قضى العديد من اللاجئين السوريين في لبنان سنوات طويلة بعيداً عن وطنهم، يواجهون شتّى التحديات.
وآخرها نزوحهم داخل لبنان هرباً من الضربات الإسرائيلية في الجنوب والبقاع.  

وبالنسبة لمن لا يستطيعون العودة إلى سوريا بعد، احتياجاتهم متزايدة، ومساعدتهم ضرورية.

Behind Hasnaa’s smile lies a story of complex displacement, shared by 100s of thousands across Lebanon.

After losing her home in south Lebanon, she sought refuge in Beirut, only to be displaced again.

Today, she lives in a school in Beirut, with no clear end to her displacement.

خلف ابتسامة حسناء قصة نزوح تتقاطع مع قصص مئات الآلاف في لبنان. فبعد أن أجبرتها الظروف على مغادرة منزلها في جنوب لبنان، لجأت إلى بيروت بحثاً عن الأمان. لكن رحلة النزوح لم تنتهِ هناك، إذ وجدت نفسها مُجبرةً للنزوح مرة أخرى.

تعيش حسناء اليوم في إحدى المدارس في بيروت، معلّقة بين ذكريات منزل فقدته ومستقبل لا تزال ملامحه غير واضحة.

Inaam lost her son during the conflict and now cares alone for her elderly mother and daughter.

Their home in Beirut's southern suburbs was destroyed, and without the means to rebuild it, return remains out of reach.

Like nearly 400,000 people across Lebanon, she remains displaced.

فقدت إنعام ابنها خلال النزاع، وأصبحت اليوم تتحمل وحدها مسؤولية رعاية والدتها المسنة وابنتها.

فبعدما دُمّر منزلها في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت، ومع غياب الإمكانات اللازمة لإعادة بنائه، لا يزال حلم العودة بعيد المنال.

وكحال نحو ما يُقارب 400 ألف نازح في لبنان، ما زالت إنعام تعيش واقع النزوح الأليم بإنتظار فرصة للعودة إلى ديارها.

For many families, home is no longer standing.

At least 400K Lebanese remain displaced.

With entire neighbourhoods razed to the ground and services disrupted, many have little or nothing to return to.

UNHCR remains on the ground but needs continue to outpace resources.

“لا بيت لنا لنعود إليه”.
للعديد من العائلات اللبنانية الجنوبية والبقاعية، هذا واقع نزوحهم.

فقد دُمّرت أحياء بأكملها وتعطلت الخدمات الأساسية، تاركةً إياهم أمام مستقبل مجهول وعودة بعيدة النال.
