Wrapping up a year of Equal Play Effect ⚽
Through the Equal Play Fund, funded by Common Goal , we trained young female trainers and Playmakers in Lebanon and Jordan, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to create more inclusive spaces for girls in football.
Together, they went on to host 7 Football Girls’ Inclusion Events, bringing girls together to play, share experiences, and feel part of the game, while creating more opportunities for girls to play football.⚽️
As we wrap up the project, we are proud to see that we have helped empower young female leaders who are inspiring a younger generation of girls to do the same 👉Get out there, play, and become changemakers.✨💪

Girls leading on the pitch⚽️✨
GAME Playmakers and Trainers took the lead in shaping and delivering five football events held across the country throughout August.
Across the five events, 150+ girls came together, creating opportunities to play, be creative, connect, and take on leadership roles within their communities.
From developing the themes and action plans to supporting the organisation and delivery of each event, our girls Playmakers and trainers were at the centre of the process. Their leadership helped create spaces that respond to girls’ interests and needs, making it easier and interesting for more girls to take part of the activities and enjoy sport.
Creating more girls-tailored sports opportunities is an important part of making participation more accessible for more girls to stay involved in sport.

Big thanks goes to our Playmakers for laying the groundwork and for Common Goal through Equal Play Fund for supporting this and giving us the opportunities to reflect on what makes programs actually work for girls 💙⚽️

At the GAME Zones, learning is happening outside of the classroom⚽️🧩
Through the STEMplay Project, funded by Grand Challenges Canada and the LEGO Foundation, children are getting the chance to learn while staying active through the sports trainings at the GAME Zones.
Each session is bringing together play, STEM themes and learning, giving children space to move, work together, and discover new ways of thinking along the way.
Through STEMPlay, GAME is aiming to create more opportunities for children to learn outside the school system where fun sports sessions create meaningful opportunities for children to connect STEM concepts to their everyday lives.
Here are some pictures from the trainings that capture a few of these moments🤩

As part of Equal Play Effect, funded by , we gathered girls from across Lebanon for a Playmaker & Trainers Camp focused on making sports more inclusive and accessible for girls.
Through the training, discussions, and hands-on activities, these young girls explored what it takes to create safe, welcoming, and empowering sports spaces for everyone. ✨ They also designed 5 Girls’ Inclusion Football events themselves which they will host very soon, putting their ideas and knowledge into action. 🙌
We can’t wait to see these events come to life and the impact they create in their communities! 💫

These young Playmakers are now delivering free weekly STEM & Street Sports sessions in their communities, inspiring children and helping them develop curiosity and scientific thinking step-by step through the trainings.
