GAME Lebanon

GAME Lebanon GAME Urban Sports Organization GAME is a non-profit organization that has worked for the promotion of street sports and street culture since 2002.

Starting 2007 in Lebanon. Every year, GAME conducts weekly training sessions in street basket, dance classes, street soccer across 10 places all over Lebanon, the so-called GAME zones. Each zone is administered by a group of dedicated volunteers and coaches who teach the youth of these areas how to work in a goal-oriented fashion through a range of comprehensive training exercises. GAME

is also involved in educating local youth from residential areas so that they can become playmakers. The young playmakers then become part of the team involved in street sport activities. The goal is that of developing a positive identity and strengthened self-worth amongst the individual participants with the over-arching aim of improving health and curbing crime. GAME party is a street festival and sports tournaments that takes place in socially challenged residential areas in Lebanon. The aim of the organization is that of being a catalyzer for self-organized art, culture and street sport activities for socially challenged youth who don’t use the existent cultural institutions and their offers.

Every child deserves the chance to play.
Yet in a city like Beirut, with limited public spaces, sports are becoming a luxury.
At GAME House Beirut, our free weekly street sports training sessions create a safe and inclusive space where children can play and access real sports training — free, all year round.
So far, more than 300 children have taken part in sessions that offer more than skills: they build routine, provide role models, and create a true sense of belonging.

Last weekend, we hosted a pivotal event, marking the road towards the establishment of a new youth-led local organization, "Playmakers" designed to ensure the sustainability and long-lasting impact of local sports for development initiatives.

During the event, we gathered a group of our Hall of GAME Playmakers to discuss the internal structure of the organization, share ideas, and explore their perspectives on the roles they will play in shaping its future.
Their insights and commitment reaffirms the power of youth leadership in driving meaningful change.
This initiative is made possible with the generous support of the Danish Embassy in Beirut through the "Building a Sustainable Future for Lebanon" project.
